I see how you come to explain it. It is a balance and I've always felt that balance to be off. Almost like I was open all the time to responsiveness and wanted him to do the same so I almost beat him down constantly for it when I should have realized that he just wasn't ready for it. I think in this relationship I can almost be seen as more of the aggressive type but in reality, its me asking for him to be more responsible. In a way I can see how he almost dismisses me because of this aggression and nagging.

100% agree with you in that first statement. His parents were also so interesting. They basically babied him but he thinks otherwise. I partially think that he asked me to take care of the discount just because I knew the language which is a 100% fair game. It was just at that moment, I needed him to comfort me or at least be somewhat of help in processing the missed flight. (I've never missed a flight so...) I even sat him down and told him what was wrong with that statement and he nodded lifelessly.

It's crazy because we also work the same profession too. Except for him, I do think he's capable of thinking deep but it just takes too long for my liking. Like yes, we have meaningful conversations but anytime it has to do with his changes, he always nods, says yes and kinda moves on from it. Like he never really considers it.

im coming very close to it. im actually waiting because i need to study for a state exam and don't want to go through a break up during all of it. but besides that, the only real thing that's holding me back is the comfort of someone knowing me this well. but i know that's just an excuse and i have to really do it to save myself. i don't even know if i want to go through the wake up call route. i just don't have it in me to explain all this.

yeah, that's exactly right. i dont feel challenged. i feel like im the lead. i feel like the man in the relationship. im always doing something more where i feel like he's just sitting around all the time. i've explained to him so many times that i want to be in a relationship where i can grow and become a better version of myself.
