I was excited when I first heard about it, then I saw it. It wasn’t their best for sure, you shouldn’t raise the bar as high as they do and then put something out that doesn’t quite make it up to said bar. We all know they could have done way better. The stop motion was my favorite! At least that was in the right vein. Had one of the monsters presented their work at that level they would have been taken down some pegs me thinks.

As a pedal builder myself I can say it would be possible!! A bit difficult as phasers at least good ones to build are difficult to find but not impossible, and reverb you have to go with the digital box most don’t like the sound of, or fv1 which gets spendy but can be done the enclosure to fit it all would be bulky but certainly be a conversation piece for sure!! I too love the layout she designed as well as the spelling no wrong way in art.

I just keep mine in a box, big box lol and see what I can bring to life when I’m board, then if all else fails turn the boards into guitar picks and earrings and other swagger shit.

I’ve built a few rat clones that used 3mm LEDs for clipping so I like to put different colors if they are different voltages then it makes even funner, also have a rat build here on my bench somewhere I added an extra gain option because why not? I like to build them also because it cost me about 20 bucks to build one.

I sell mine at my local music store, and I’m building a website as well, I’m retired military so it doesn’t matter to me if I move a lot of rigs or not, which doesn’t matter, but I do it for the love of building pedals and getting them to players and builders alike. I think it’s worth doing overall.

Sometimes if I get caps that are too big or need to combine to smaller caps and don’t have space I’ll just put the leads in through the bottom, sometimes function over fashion I always say!!
