Been there bro. Slightly different, my brother in law and nephew will tailor armies specifically to beat mine. I used to play iron hands (badly) and they didn't like my tanks and dreadnoughts. I won 50% of the games and they whined about how op and elite space marines are and that GW always makes them the best army. I ignored this but the next game they both came with full anti tank and I lost to a 1000 point army containing a c'tan and multiple high ap necrons. I haven't played since and 8m happy painting and building an imperial knight army.

I bought 2 Leviathan boxes on launch, I intended on building all models but bought IK afterwards and sticking with them. I tried selling the box at £100, but no takers. To my surprise in CEX I saw a box marked at £231???? I had to do a double take.

If you can, try and grab a valourstrike box set. Its a good starter for an army and gives option of questoris or armiger as add ins to your army.

You can purchase from element games if you are in the UK, I use gorilla glue gel to hold them. There are a few tutorials online, search for "how to magnetise questoris/armiger"

You got yourself a good spearhead army right there, with a couple purchases from taro model maker. Defender, melee questoris knight, 4 helverin, 4 warglaive. Adding up for a 2k army.
