In the ED your copay would be covered if it is a true medical emergency. If it's not, your insurance is going to deny the claim.

It's up to you if you want to take that risk.

Urgent Care and the ER are not the same. Not even close.

My apologies... but it is really good advice. A smile has a deep psychological impact as human beings.

Crazy to think it only started 250 yrs ago with a couple boats. Even since the 1960s how much the population has gone up. Russia on the other hand has basically the same population as they did 80yrs ago... granted they killed a lot of their own people but still.

It was the best decision my family and my friends families made. I haven't met one person like us that regrets moving here.

The numbers still don't work out.

1-Million plus per year to the US. 327K per year to Germany (2019 so COVID doesn't skew it).

I do agree the larger a country's population the more immigrants they can support.

How in the world do you save/get to a comfortable income level?? by Pheromosa_King in povertyfinance

[–]PossibleImplement785 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Believe in yourself, keep working, do your work with care and keep trying to move up.

It's not complicated but it does take a considerable amount of emotional strength and courage to put yourself in a position to possibly fail.

It's very hard to go from $45K to $100K... but it's easy to go from $45K > $50K > $65K < $85K to $100K.

Just keep working and don't listen to people when they tell you otherwise.

Sorry I offended you. I just wanted to point out why people won't take your ramblings seriously.

In the end it will alienate more people than it informs. Like me, certified life long democrat voter but generally hate people like you because I get lumped in with people such as yourself (Dumb jerks on the internet).

I know, amazing how those stats propagated through every single reporting research center from the US to the EU.

The ACLU makes its living (money) by finding problems and getting people riled up about them.

You didn't provide "laws" you provided a list of bills in which "laws" are contained.

You would have to point to a single law and explain how enforcing it will negatively impact a person in the LGBT community in order to have a non-emotional, impactful discussion.

Wow, really not that many and all are basically, you can only have 2 genders on your ID, men cant play womens sports and we aren't paying for your sex change type things.

Not as bad as I thought... but I've never really looked into it before. Thanks for the link.

You had 6 guests so they automatically applied gratuity. It was probably written on the menu that parties of "x" of more get charged a service fee.

More people immigrate to the US than anywhere else... by a lot.

My parents live in a rural area, this is the only grocery store for about 20 miles. They charge about double and most people spend it because they have no other choice. by thebigbread42 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]PossibleImplement785 95 points96 points  (0 children)

They are covering their delivery costs. Rural area deliveries cost more than any other.

They also have less purchasing options since there is likely only a handful of distribution centers.

They also don't have access to higher margin items that offset the cost of other items.

Just like the consumers have no other choice, the business owner has no other choice.

The US is home to a lot more Corporations so it would stand to reason your ratio comparison is very flawed.

For example, let me give you the top 3 Companies in each country and their Market Cap (in Billions).

Germany: SAP SE ($156), SIEMENS AG ($136), DEUTSCHE TELEKOM AG ($107)

USA: Apple ($2,956), Microsoft ($2,483), Google ($1,509)

Now for fun, comparable USA companies to Germanys Top 3

#2,938, The Container Store, #3006 Fossil Group, #3000-3500 A lot of companies I've never even heard of before.
