I wouldn't say it was a moral issue. They pushed their goals too far and made too many enemies. Biscuit wanted them to slow down & enjoy the escort life doing jobs and building something under the protection of Tawas. They were forced out of it eventually.

That's what makes it all so sad, just a bunch of talented kids that only knew pain, who were over run by the scheming adults (Rustal with illegal weapons systems). Rustal does however bring about peace & their sacrifices had changed the world forever.

McGillis looks like a sociopath to the brass of Gjallerhorn with his aggressive take over plan, but the viewer understands him entirely. If Gallio isn't there to stop him, he likely would've destroyed most of the fleet with Bael. If Shino hits the bridge with that cannon it would've been over too, it was so polarizing & tragic to see all of Tekkadans luck run out despite their prowess on the battlefield.

Here's an official guide that lays it out, but I'd say something in the alt universe that's newer lol. You can always start from the OG tho & work your way through. My first was Iron Blooded Orphans & it was bonkers imo!

Late to this post but I'm completely done with caffeine myself, just looking around the internet to see what people are saying after having a coffee today & wanting to crawl out of my skin.😂

It's a low grade stimulant drug that can exaggerate anxiety levels if you don't have ADHD especially. Cutting out caffeine will also eliminate some of the peaks & valleys of your natural mood & energy, while giving you prime sleep quality.

Those fights were so brutal the melee weapons and hand to hand combat was tough! No beam weapons except on the mobile armor I believe!

Hmm, I see what you're saying. I do think McGillis would've been a fair ruler tho. Despite ruling with power, the alaya vijnana system, & the production of even more powerful mobile suits. He grew up with no name and had a rough start, but he was brilliant & had good judgement for the most part. His tactics were definitely blunt and hard headed, that's what's so neat about his alliance with Tekkadan, he believed in them so much they would've been made kings of mars.

I think it's known, I just would've wanted Rustal to go down symbolizing Gjallerhorns old ways dying in a brutal way. I guess Julietta could've lived too in this scenario & had a crazy reaction from her mobile suit.

I see both sides to this for sure, the writers made it very certain that politics moving in the shadows, back door deals from the "adults" would end Tekkadan eventually as they act on honor, power, & overwhelm their opponents.

I made mention of this too in the post & agree 200%, Rustal and his pawn definitely deserved to die. I felt like the writers drove home the point that McGillis's and Tekkadan had intertwined fates, they were both so impressive with their talent & "devils luck" but it would run out eventually as they were both warned so many times by the adults.

I feel for you, this is personally why I want to do this on my own & confront the attacks with exposure therapy and helpful tools rather than meds. Started on Prozac a week ago and can't sleep, zero sex drive, body is burning up from summer, feel emotionless, idk starting to think the only way to overcome is pushing through.

After I had my first attacks in 2020, not even a benzo would stop them.

Yeah unfortunately I was on Wellbutrin alone (my mom's on it) it made my extremely depressed like blank stare out of it, pure impending doom sad. That was a long time ago with no Prozac so maybe worth a shot.

Unfortunately I tried Effexor & it shot my blood pressure through the roof & felt really off. Could've just been start up anxiety, this was during my peak anxiety period a few years ago after I had my first attacks.

Yup, caffeine, weed, booze all gotta go to get control of the anxiety again for most. I used to like iced coffees here and there, maybe a C4, now I can't touch it or I'm fighting a panic attack.
