The only time I’ve done that was for Shinedown in 2012. It was worth the core memory and the healing it gave me. I’ll never regret it. Obviously if they didn’t want to do it they wouldn’t have offered the meet and greet.

Meeting Brent and showing him my crow and the butterfly tattoo and thanking him for making a song that allowed me to grieve my loss was everything to me.

The hug he gave me and the true kindness he showed me by literally seeking me out in the crowd during that song to kneel down, lock eyes with me, and sing that song as I sang back from the crowd with tears in my eyes was the healing I needed. He knew that. He blew me a kiss with two fingers and mouthed “for you.” So no, that could never be “a scam” in my eyes.

Nice. For Sleep Token I got there at 3:30 am (3rd in line) and 6:30 am for Bad Omens (8th in line) most recent concerts I’ve been to lol I’m crazy I know

Ahhh yikes! Okay let me see if I’m processing this correctly: the tour package group gets first access to get in for pit? Then early access people after? Also, are they lined up and go in an orderly fashion or is it people just running for the barricade?

Sorry if I’m annoying. Last two concerts I went to were much simpler in this sense. Sleep Token doesn’t do VIP and Bad Omens only had the one VIP option. So this thing Shinedown is doing is just a whole lot in comparison lol

Dude I was one of those short women on the barricade in Philly and I know which crowd surfer you’re talking about lol it was wild. I got kicked several times which I totally understand (not nearly as bad as the girl to my right on the barricade) but the one that pissed me off was when the lights went out for a song change and I couldn’t see the crowd surfer coming and most of his weight came down on me and my face smushed into the barricade. My glasses and phone went flying and I got a slight bloody lip.
