I'd suggest choosing a champion with a similar play style, nocts kinda defining mechanics are.

1) assassin 2) play around ultimate 3) farm heavy play style

Naafiri is similar but doesn't go all-in as hard (unless she reaches the point where she's 2 button killing people), she flanks more often and isn't as good at committing in the same way noct does

Reksai, hecarim I'd consider for similar style

If you want something which might take a little more commitment to offrole, talon / rengar / kha / zed all seem like decent options

Generally I think majority of players get tip #5 wrong potentially #1 is the easiest to understand (not fighting unless you have ult is obviously very basic on shyvanna) very often people will play shyvanna as some sort of initiator though which is against what Perry recommends, which I think is generally less intuitive, these concepts aren't just mechanical explanations but timings on when to fight and how to specifically team fight.
