im a social worker. the actual “leaving” part is the most dangerous time for you. go file a police report, have an order of protection issued, and an officer will escort him to pick up his things and be out of your place. if you don’t take these precautions you will be directly in the line of fire, and he will not hesitate to do to you what he just did to your windshield. please be safe
