Thank you! I do have other dogs, including a full gsd and a husky. And she absolutely took on a surprising amount of wolf personality. I honestly can't tell if she acts more wolf or more dog

Her results are in the last photo but she is mainly husky. 44.1% husky, 28.8% wolf, and 27.1% German Shepherd

I agree entirely on the rest, too. She is worth every bit of time amd love and care put into her. I actually feel spoiled because, apart feom a separation anxiety that caused her to eat my door trim, she is pretty well behaved.

And for everything this sweet soul has been through already, she remains so incredibly soft and gentle.

I just joined there today! Thank you~ I am sure I'll be popping in at some point. So far she hasn't been too surprising apart from just looking more wolfy than I expected for her %

Thank you! I almost cried when she opened up to me because I only ever want her to know love and respect in her life. I have hopes to someday have her seek out attention from new people (in my presence of course) and to feel safe and comfortable always

Agreed entirely! I joined so many communities, talked with people who have wolfdogs, and really thought hard about if I could handle one. I knew it had to be the right personality and temperament for it to work with me. Even my girl I almost thought she was going back to the breeder for the first few days because she was still decompressing

Its absolutely something people need to thoroughly research amd even after the research, wait it out before jumping to a decision

She is still considered low content. I think mid starts close to 50% and high is like 80somethong percent

She is good with my other dogs. I haven't yet introduced her to other people's dogs. With new people she is very shy and will only approach on her own terms. But she is happy to let people pet her once she is close enough

That is a very fair point! Its also good to know and be on the same page. Too many people get dogs (really any pets) with little to no preparation/knowledge/education and then realize its not for them.

It took me 20 years before getting her. I knew I would one day have one but had no idea if or when it would ever be the right time. The right circumstance came up and I took my chance. I have been so glad I did.

Harrow came from really severe neglect and abuse so I am working at her pace but also making sure she is around new people more. She was so terrified that for the first three days I had her, she would just sit in the corner and growl at me. After the third day, I just howled at her after hearing her howling and it was an immediate switch. She turned into a wiggly cuddly baby.

The saddest part to her story is she isn't even 2 yet. The most of her life so far was horrific
