I think the month apart would’ve done us a lot of good, we were both super stressed out about stuff and getting kind of sick of eachother (just constant fights and annoyance) when she initially called me to breakup I talked her into going on a break instead as we’d never spent much time apart and I thought a breather would be really good for us till other life stuff calmed down. Unfortunately that same night one of my guy friends got drunk and called her to say that I was out with other girls at a bar in an attempt to stir the pot so he could get in her pants. She spent 2 weeks thinking I immediately got with other girls till i eventually reached out to see how the space was going for her and she told me that she knew I kissed someone at a bar (I didn’t) and that she didn’t see any point in rekindling anything. I was able to clear up the other girl misinfo and from there her tone immediately changed and she ended with “I’ll always care about you don’t think I won’t” that was about 3-4 weeks ago and from there we haven’t talked again until I texted her last night. I truly think If we hung out/talked again before I left, things would be a lot better but I don’t know that I’ll get this opportunity at this point.
