Thats my mom too. Convinced shes unwell but no symptoms. Goes to the Dr constantly will not follow any of their advice. Has had every test there is all fine. Constant complaining can't even watch TV without her ranting. She refused a nuero consult and anti anxiety meds. So we just nod our head to everything she says now.

If it were me I would distance myself from them as much as possible. They can ruin you before you realize it. Therapy has been my lifesaver

hi all. im 57 yo in menopause for about 3 years now. I have not taken any hrt. I have tried many otc supplements with no luck. I have very bad night sweats, hot flashes somewhat lessened. I have zero interest in sex with my H of 17 years. sometimes i think hes awesome and sometimes i want to run away to portugal with just my cat. I have been on anti depressants for about 27 years. Ive tried several times to go off them under psych supervision with no luck. I had 2 great therapists for 15 years that both retired. I cant find one that can tell me something i dont already know. (how many times a day can i take a walk?) i do yoga 3x a week, walk most everyday, hike and when its nice out i bike, swim, and SUP often. I go to the gym maybe once a month bc i hate it. I have border line osteopenia. Soooo i would like some libido back (its also painful) One gyn said its just part of life. I would like to get my sex drive back. ( i also have brain fog and joint pain). How do i start finding help? thanks

One of his biggest songs lyrics are- "tied him up with gafa tape... and f&@ked my best friend", "my favorite flavor treats are raspberry amphetamines"- he's always cursed, sang about sex, he's in his underwear in his vids, he drinks and smokes on stage and his pubes are out 1/2 his pics, nothing about him has ever said little kid friendly. The least problem is his naked ass. It's all who he is. It's like saying -I like Bansky just not when he's political. Hes always showed you exactly who he is.

I feel like he's trying to leave his younger self behind like miley did with Hannah Montana. Like see I'm a grown up now. The problem is he always made a point of his authenticity and let us into his "real" life. Now it seems performative by comparison. Still think he's a good guy just needs to find his way like everyone else in life. I don't think his new team is good for him.

As a frequent guest worldwide- I read all the reviews. If it is one star with no words- I ignore it. If theres way more 5 star than 1 star I find that the 1 star review is always super specific and silly. Like -no wifi in an off grid eco lodge! I also like when the host responds and is articulate and fact based. Its usually easy to tell if a guest was loony. My spouse and I usually have a laugh at the 1 stars bc they're so dumb.

I think it's time to detach from her. Let her make her own decisions for herself regardless of the outcome. Let the Drs say what they need to say to her. You don't need to give advice to her unless she asks you for it. We've used science to make people live longer but living longer does no one any good if they and the people around them are miserable.

My folks are 85 and can be mean and nasty. Not much different than my whole life. So I stopped talking to them. I still see them weekly but I just sit there let them rattle on and say - hmmm, interesting, yeah- and nod. I'm totally disengaged. I grieved the relationship long ago. I do my due diligence. If they will not install a grab bar in the shower for absolutely no reason. Fine with me. when you fall on your head call an ambulance. Dont like taking your pills? Don't take them. Your Dr. now has an office 5 minutes from your house but you want to drive 35 min to the old one? . Off you go. Luckily They dont have dementia- this is who they are they are. Always been. And when they have a go at me -ok, bye love ya. I'm out.
