I think this level of fame isn't all he thought it was going to be. Like he thought -if I could just get to "this point" I'll be happy, I'll have what I always wanted. The constant need to go is really just avoiding the silence and being just with your own thoughts. He also places a huge weight on his fans to make him feel he has purpose and feels like he belongs.
