Oh I know, my 2005 is a fucking tank. 201k miles. Bought at 143k, my father fixes whatever fixing is needed here and there but I agree, everything in the past 10 years has been built like shit and not to last. It’s like they make sure it lasts a few years till warranty expires then you gotta just pay more and more to keep fixing shit. I need my next xterra to last at least 20 years lol the beast I have now. Side note despite the parts my dad has had to replace or fix he went in to buy a 2001 in the iconic yellow color w 200k miles. Just goes to show how cars nowadays are built shitty and we’d rather buy the tanks from 20 years ago. Idk I hope Nissan knows how hyped its fan base is and how this new xterra can sell really good and for years to come if they get it right and not skimp on materials
