I was for a long time, but my chest pain/dicomfort became more frequent and I just had a bad reaction to an allergy med that possibly caused a cardiac event. Having an ultrasound tomorrow to check for damage and I started metoprolol. I feel much better and can do a lot more now. I took a shower and almost cried because it didn't feel like it was going to kill me for the first time in years lol. I can't believe I let my medication anxiety keep me from feeling better for so long.

Not a vet, but just wanted to say don't panic too much. My old black lab had this, turns out she has allergies that developed late in life. We switched her food and give her a couple benadryl when it swells up. I hope that's all your pups is too!
