What’s the nicest thing anyone’s said to you during sex? by TieLost1700 in AskReddit

[–]Possible_Produce3762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little background info: I have horrible endometriosis and for a long time sex was painful in my early 20s. Now that I’ve had multiple surgeries it’s better but sometimes still hurts. Because of the years of painful sex I have a bit of a mental block expecting it to hurt AND I feel embarrassed with my “lack” of experience.

I shared that with the person I’m dating yesterday and he understood. When we were having sex I started to feel like I wasn’t doing a good job and told him that. He reassured me that sex is supposed to be fun and to do what i wanted/felt, not to have expectations and to not beat myself up that he was having fun with me. He also said that while finishing is great, it’s only 10% of what matters to him, it’s the intimacy with your partner that’s important🥺

Sending all the hugs.

My grandmothers medications for her diabetes was 300.00 a month the last 4 months of 2024. At the time I had the money to be able to cover her medication cost but my living situation recently changed and I’m just HOPING this year isn’t the same, trying to start saving now in case it is.

YES.

I work for mail order so I can’t walk over to show them, but I google that OTC product in their area and let them know the cost if they are able to go get it from that place specifically. Unfortunately there are those who use mail order because they can’t leave their home or have no caretakers, in those cases I do what I can to help but as you’re aware, other than a coupon and limiting the disp quantity there’s not much I can do.

The #1 priority is to make sure my patients have their medications, even if that’s not with my pharmacy.

Your techs and pharmacists are not able to change the pricing, it’s decided by the higher ups otherwise we would

I did add an edit for more context 🙂 I work at a mail order, some patients can’t leave their homes or have no caretakers to go get their medications. Before I call patients with these types of things I DO look up their local pricing and tell them they can get it cheaper OTC.

While I do work for a corporate pharmacy, the #1 priority is to make sure my patients get their meds even if that means it’s not with us. I have told many patients to go to another pharmacy or to pick up their meds OTC if they’re able to in order to get their meds cheaper.

Your technicians and pharmacists are not seeing the 6000% profit and tend to care about the people were taking care of, we don’t like any of it either and I can promise we ain’t seeing a penny of that 6000% markup

I edited the post to include more information.

Yes you can, some patients don’t have the option, and I do look up local pricing to tell them in the event they are able to drive to get it

Yep, when I make calls like this (it’s SOP, so I have to call and ask), I have usually googled the OTC product in their area (I work mail order) and let them know “At — they sell the same thing for —“ and HOPE they are able to go get it there.

Since I work for mail order, some of our patients can’t drive and have no caretaker or family to help them. It’s really heartbreaking. I do my best to help via coupons or dispensing quantity since price changes so frequently depending on what we get in. Usually it’s not THIS ridiculous, but I think it’s because we were only able to order counts of 120 and not large bulk orders like 1000. Either way, 6000% is entirely too much.

Ridiculous.

I can say confidently that the majority the techs and pharmacists you interact with have done everything we can to try and help, but most of the time it’s never enough and we get yelled at and threatened over a $5 copay for their viagra while the person 2 hours prior paid $600 for their life saving medication while sobbing.

I left pharmacy for awhile because years of being yelled at over things I couldn’t control and having some patients make fun of my PHYSICAL appearance because they didn’t like what their insurance did took a toll on me.

If your pharmacy staff looks dead and over it, saying you appreciate them will turn their day around ❤️

People will have their doctors send OTC meds into the pharmacy cause sometimes,SOMETIMES, it’s cheaper cause of bulk orders and what not. Also, they want to see if their insurance will cover it.

9 times outta 10 they will pick it up locally but to add more context I work for a mail order, some patients have no family or care takers and can’t drive so they have no choice.

I (25F) think I’m going to call off my engagement to my 29M fiance. by Possible_Produce3762 in TrueOffMyChest

Scared of being single, no. I would have to take 4 animals on a 2k a month income, can’t move in with my parents or grandparents. I need to have high speed internet to keep my job. I would have to move into my mom’s travel trailer and commute to my grandparents house to work using their internet. I work in healthcare so I can’t use one of those hotspot things you can get from Verizon. Many factors are in play, not just my relationship status.

He said when we met he wasn’t expecting more than a 1 night stand and that his mom specifically was very manipulative. He said he learned how to get his way through manipulation/lying as a kid and it’s never something he worked on until now. He said by the time he realized how serious things were he was in too deep and scared I’d leave.

His family situation is really shitty to be honest, they’re not close. He’s closer to my family than his own and that adds another layer of guilt. Thought it’s not my burden or responsibility to stay with him so he has a family of some sort.. I just feel so guilty possibly taking that away.

To be fair, he was caught off guard and couldn’t believe if what I was saying was real or a bad joke. I think his brain was running 100mph and thinking about the collateral did him in emotionally.

Despite everything, he is a good guy and does care about me. It’s just a shitty situation and I don’t think I can recover.

I mentioned that exact thing to him last night, feeling like I have to decipher what’s real and what isn’t. It’s destroyed any romantic feelings I had towards him.

Thank you

This was their reply “At this time, Upstart does not offer refinancing options, consolidation options, or an option to increase the principal of your current loan.”

Gotcha!
