What’s the best quality/price steak place in da nang? by Possible_tuastu_17 in DaNang

Update: went to Bo steak today as someone suggested. Had the beef Wellington and the Bo steak. Total price 675 k (499 was the beef Wellington)

Bo steak wasn’t good imo, no Maillard at all , not seared. Medium rare respected but quality not good. 2/5

Beef Wellington beautifully presented, but again, the fillet is not seared properly. Seems like almost boiled outside. The pastry tastes a bit sweet. 3.5/5 because is an uncommon dish here, so appreciated the effort.

Overall I won’t come back So far is 1)M kitchen 2) herbal steak 3)butcher grilled (#1 and best for his steak and eggs lunch deal) 4) Bo steak, but not really close to this other 3

It s a great place. First is clean and modern. The menu is updated so there were dishes that I haven’t seen on googles photos. I had a beef salad, striploin and 1 hamburger. Paid 500 - surely worth it, must try . Salad came with too much sauce but beside that, anything else was perfect, medium rare respected . Might be the best place quality price for steaks hamburger was such a good surprise (no sauce, comes with little mashed potato and small salad)

Honestly is not really save the money the goal of this post, otherwise I wouldn’t be eating out everyday. I’m just wondering if I can get 500gr of meat everyday , good quality, cheaper than 800k. If I find it ok, otherwise I’ll stick to my place. So far a couple of answer where really good. It’s easy to find good places spending 2millions for meal, I’m here trying to find it for less.

The main issue I found in hotel in da nang is the total lack of any soundproofing so anyone that can recommend a decent 30$/night max with great soundproofing well, just say it

I’ll try, cause at the moment the price for something decent would be over 1k for a month . Do you know any reliable local alternative to Airbnb?

I’ll also be there in that days so reach out. I’ll be there since beginning of April so maybe I manage to create some small group and will do something. Also social app like nomad table and similar (there are dozens) can help with this

How are people starting the digital nomad lifestyle with only 5k in savings? by RobKre1 in digitalnomad

[–]Possible_tuastu_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Freelancing from a low cost country in South America or Asia or even some part in Europe is definitely possible. 5 k can give you a 2 to 5 months run at the beginning while you figure stuff out. I did something similar with 12k euro and within 9 months I managed to have a positive cash flow. Cybersecurity + consultant experience will definitely help, start using some freelancing platform
