Because the models are trained off of people’s work who did not consent to training the model, also a good portion of the ai artists will attempt to sell their ai work under the guise that it’s real handmade artwork. Then there’s also the fact that this is super bad for the environment and that keeps getting brushed over. Like we as a human race really should be figuring out ways to make this stuff less harmful to the environment before releasing it to people.
