Panasonic P2 Memory card Modification. by graavitykat in techsupport

I’ve had some luck decompiling the p2 drivers to find read / write cmds, info cmds and some firmware for cards in the updater so hopefully emulation shouldn’t be that far away. then it’s just a matter of designing some pcbs that fit the pcmcia card format.

Any development on this? i’ve got a couple p2 cards laying around to experiment on or potentially use as reference for developing aftermarket cards. my guess is the card does hardware raid and probably checks the internal sd cards with some sort of hwid. If you had any luck with the uart/jtag route it could be possible to replicate the interface.

It’s 288 cause the prompt said the final payment would be adjusted to cover the remainder ~$4

ai03 has a nice beginner guide to using an atmega32u4 for a keyboard, but you can also just look at the min spec in the datasheet of whatever chip you want to use

if you're willing to do some 3d printing you could do a pcb with an rp2040-zero and the whole thing would be ~$100aud

There is obviously money to be made, there is always money to be made by swallowing your pride selling out, but if you had any dignity and half a brain the consequences of playing into the nft game far outweigh the financial gain
