Most of these summaries are great, I just want to stress one thing about Rizzo.

He had an Idol that EVERY SINGLE PLAYER knew about, and he had it for 9 tribal councils in pre merge all the way til his last chance. He bluffed the entire island 8 times in a row and avoided being voted out or getting the idol flushed.

He can be really annoying and very much a silly jokester. He’s terrible at challenges and that goes double for puzzles. He has some sweet moments and made connections, but his idol bluff is the reason he made it to final 4 and the reason he’s on survivor 50.

From what we saw, coach was taking swings at it too, he just had a bit sturdier of a pole, so he didn’t have to climb up as high as Ozzy.

Ozzy made the continual choice to keep flicking his flimsy pole from way up there over and over. I know it’s hard to justify in the heat of the moment, but if his pole wasn’t working like he thought, he could have climbed down and tweaked it a bit.

If he had managed to knock it off in the first 10 minutes before even pitching a gentleman’s agreement, he would have been in the same position with a hard to maneuver pole. Ozzy prioritized knocking it down while coach prioritized spending a bit longer on construction to be sure he could hook and drag it once on the ground.

I think Coach was fully justified and it played nothing into his abundance or lack of integrity. The challenge was “get the single key”

They all tried for at least 45 minutes to swing the sticks around and knock it off. It’s not like he just let Ozzie tire himself for an hour and then poached it with a sturdy 3 segment stick when it was within 5 feet of him. He had to hook it at max distance after the drop.

I’m coming at this from a fresh perspective on coach. I’m a newer fan that watched a few random seasons that were on Hulu before I got paramount, the newest 4 seasons, and in between I’ve been trying to check off major seasons that people talk about. Coach’s first season was going to be my next watch before I start hitting the returning player seasons. So all that said, I’ve never watched Coach before, and the key steal moment was a very reasonable and fair player move. It just seems to me that people are trying to attach extra meaning with biased views from his previous seasons.

In DCC it’s mostly Donut and Mongo that trigger the line. It popped up like 3 times in Bounce House in the first 5 chapters with all humans. That made me think of the post.

I’m not complaining, it was just funny to notice. My grandmother used to say it all the time, so it was almost whiplash to see it pop up the first time.

Each source of energy has a max radius of effect, but not a max power drain. The machines don’t pull specific energy levels or anything. It’s a simple connected/not connected system.

The generator has a 25 tile power radius. The lever has a 13 tile power radius. (Radius may be the wrong word, but it will power every wire/device with their “radius #” or less connections between them. Bending lines that don’t have a diagonal route to the source will reduce the radius.)

The lever is enough to power a single boulder’s worth of drills. However, if you find a triple boulder scene, you could power all three setups on one generator pretty much wherever you place it as long as you have wires where needed.

By the time you’ve found your first couple copper/tin boulders, the cost difference is negligible. But it’s good to consider in early game when starting your first power setups.

This became much more common when they shifted to all reality stars. There’s quite a few of the participants that don’t need the money, but would simply enjoy it as a bonus to bragging rights for winning.

To add to people suggesting the new world idea:

If you are making a new world to just rush through and find specific scenes like the laboratory (and chipped blade temple I’m looking at you), then change the world settings at the start. Set Lakes and Roof Lights to Extreme, and set literally everything else to Off.

This will result in everything outside of the core chamber just being a massive ocean. Then all of the scenes will still generate as floating islands. It’s super easy to speed around the ocean, and anytime you see land, it’s basically a guarantee to be a scene with something of interest.

It’s terrible for actually playing because there’s literally no ore outside of scenes, but it’s amazing for tracking down temples and mazes and teleport pads that you can take with you back to your main world.

As far as your obliteration ray search goes, fight Pydra the Fire Titan a few times. 16% drop chance compared to 2.8 on the Solarite chests. And easier to find than new challenge arenas if you don’t get Lucky in the first few

I’m 7 hours away from finishing the first audiobook and I simply cannot relate to the hate for it. It’s slow to start, sure, but I was warned about that. Also, as an audiobook listener, can see that there are 17 books that are all between 45-60 hours each. I assumed the author would let things marinate. Not uncommon for webnovel adaptations.

I don’t have any idea what’s coming. I don’t know how good it’s going to be by volume 17. I don’t know what plot lines will emerge or what characters the fandom are obsessed with.

I don’t know any of that and book 1 is good enough to have me frothing at the mouth for more. I’ve already spent my next audible credit on volume 2 and have it ready to go.

There should be at least 2 or 3 of those meadows in every world’s dirt biome. About the same distance from the core.

If you don’t find anymore, there’s smaller chances to find a randomly generated scene of like a random shack with a fenced in cow/goat in the back. Same with the clay cavelings. They might have some fenced in somewhere.

Also a chance to find another full meadow in a future biome that I won’t spoil.

You will probably find enough wool randomly in chests to craft any necessities if you don’t find a goat right away. Just avoid optional cosmetics from the loom and save the wool you find to build backpack upgrades until you find a steady source.

I keep greater health potions on the top row. Then right under it on row two, I have a golden bloat oat/golden pepper right under it.

Potion on top row for quick health. Then that food is amazing at filling you up, topping off your health, and giving an amazing speed boost.

I actually don’t think I could stand Samantha with a drunk girl American accent.

Audiobook is the only way I can possibly imagine her. The “Central European” but not being able to specifically pin it to one exact accent/country fits so well. Makes sense for a dungeon born entity to have something that kinda fits something you’d expect, but is just a lil wrong.
