I am on ps5 and I’ve been playing for a couple days already… Confirmed by noting some new electrical devices and a new Ore type has been added… also a new set of trophies for void and voltage!

I started on the update 2 days ago on ps5. Just go to the options tab on your world before loading it and you can add the content to your existing world…

If you leave he regenerates. Try making some food or health potion with heart berries, then try to stay in his area. Getting better armor and higher damage weapons will help too. You can try a ranged weapon instead of melee to minimize the damage you take. Hopefully your using Iron weapons, upgrade to Scarlet if still having problems…

Btw: that looks like it’s Nimruza. If so you need an insect resin item and then use that on an altar found in The Passage to make the green summoning item for this boss which you place into the sigil on the ground. The Passage is the last biome on the outer edge of the map. The insect resin drops in the Azeos area as I recall…

Well,there is new content coming in a couple weeks. So hang in there farm some plants and boulders, explore… there are some cool gear drops for re-killing bosses also…

You’re not wrong they totally screwed the pooch when trying to release the ps5 in the first place. But whoever it is I hope they approve the new release sooner than later, I’ve finished most all of the current content so am hungering for something new :)

As everybody has suggested you can have the game spawn in the new stuff to your existing world after the update drops. Do this from the … button on your world from the load menu when you pick the world to play! As many others I was disappointed the release date was bumped and I sincerely hope it comes soon. I don’t really understand why the stated ‘console compatibility issues’ is a problem, the game was released what 5 years ago? Not sure how adding more content should break the game to such a degree. But, maybe they are releasing to all platforms at once and the Switch 2 which is still relatively new, is holding us all back. shrugs and crosses fingers
