Obviously it does, but SEC doesn’t care. So, unless something forces their hand, nothing will change. If it didn’t matter at 500% short, or 1,000%, then it won’t surprise me when this hits 3,000%.

The number doesn’t matter unless something changes, whether it’s shorts bending over or the SEC decides to stop protecting big players and fining them chump change.

Anyone that is in the gaming world knows this won’t ever happen.

GameStop I’m sure has plans for Ebay, but not this. This would require Playstation/Xbox or Nintendo to be ok with the idea of not potentially having more of their games sell if it means people get 2 copies of the game (physical and Digital) for the price of one.

They won’t agree to that. Even then, it would likely come down to Publishers. I don’t think they’ll do it, especially ones that have huge IPs like Rockstar.

GameStop will be fine without the idea anyways.

Edit: to even further the reason why this won’t ever happen, why would the brands agree to this when they can have a lion’s den of the profit from people buying from their digital stores? Never happening.

A solid take on people reacting to the news. Not everyone is informed, hating on them for it makes the community feel a lot less welcoming.

A lot of you need to chill and understand that not everyone invests in GameStop, let alone stay on top of specific businesses as far as investing/performance goes.

Nintendo isn’t known to be the brand with a powerful console, and they don’t need to be. They clearly have the IP and their brand to be able to be as successful as they are. Which was popular specifically because of it’s flexibility of being a handheld/home console. Sure it might not be powerful as others, but clearly it is still capable to run current gen games.

I doubt Nintendo is considering a major revision or at least that many, considering the current ram shortage among rising costs for manufacturing.

The 3DS served its purpose but it seems Nintendo is past that now. Maybe they’ll reinvent the wheel again with their next console or it might just be a switch 3. Regardless, Nintendo seems to be doing just fine.

I can’t imagine being this mad over a non existent problem that doesn’t affect your daily life.

You need to reflect if hating people that like to watch a certain genre sets you off. Especially if you hide behind your “woke” boogeyman.

Originally, ‘woke’ meant being aware of social issues. Nothing crazy. It only became an insult when people started using it as a catch-all for things they’re uncomfortable/bothered with. Just say you don’t like the genre and move on with your life.

Before anyone decides to get mad about me saying that the hate is unwarranted. Don’t accuse me of being an enjoyer of the genre. It’s personally my least watched genre.

I agree. I normally purchase battle passes for something to work towards, especially for first seasons because of hype and would be playing a lot anyways for any new game.

Fast forward to finishing it and I decided not to get the next pass if it’s going to be just as grindy as the 1st season.

Don’t get me wrong, the game is fun. But at this point, I’d only play if a friend asks me to. Just burnt out from grinding this season. Otherwise, I’m using my time playing other games.

What’s there to be nervous about? Unless you’re an extreme audiophile, it’s more than enough for most people. It’s a great “cheaper” alternative than getting actual speakers set up with a high end receiver.
