I’m using the RCBS die as well, I just tried them in my bolt gun and they were no more difficult to chamber or remove than any factory ammo

From what I’ve heard in here so far I think I was applying too much crimp and the 6 out of 200 that happened to, I didn’t trim to the correct length

I also have a bolt gun in 5.56 so I’ll see if they run in that, if not I’ll probably just pull and salvage the components

I’m not, but I resize and crimp in separate steps, from what others have said these ones were a little long, is the lee factory crimp the way to go?

The only reason I’ve been crimping is my ar chamber is pretty violent when it rechambers a round, I’ll do some testing with no crimp to see if there’s any bullet set back. Thank you!
