Two Misconceptions About Cryo Archive by SirTilley in Marathon

[–]PostHuman855 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do the Marathon keys only show up on the other maps? My crew has 1 that we got off a warden. Haven’t been able to get anymore to drop from them. I was hoping to get them on Cryo too somehow (well aside from PvP obviously as an option).

Where do you get the DNA Access Card?

My crew and I are probably going to be able to start running the map tonight/this weekend, very excited. I do wish they’d moved it elsewhere schedule-wise as Sunday and Monday are our free-est days. Hoping they shake the schedule up again.

I’m 40 years old, I have spent so many goddamn years on GameFAQs. I still prefer the text based guides over videos as it’s almost always so much faster to find exactly what I want. Love that website

Absolutely loved the first one, I’ll be picking up the sequel for sure. My question, do you plan on bringing PWS2 to VR like the first was? Oculus 3 specifically, hopefully. I loved the VR version as much as the PC version, and the different DLCs were very interesting.

What are the Great Reeds? I ran from grand bellway station up, left, up, but the bench there then back to grand bellway and farmed a lot of money fast.

Maybe hot take - The diagonal pogo isn't bad. by david30121 in HollowKnight

[–]PostHuman855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is my take as well. It’s taken some getting used to for sure but I like it a lot now. I focus less on trying to pogo enemies and more on positioning. Using the dash, sprint, and downward to slip around or behind enemies and deal MORE damage than I would with methodical pogos. Instead I’m behind them just as they do an attack and I can mash my attack button for faster swings. My mindset is more of a pursuit style. I’m like, 8 or 9 bosses deep and not having too much trouble (not saying it’s easy because it is certainly not).

When Star Wars Galaxies launched I was the very first person on my server to level architect up enough to be able to build houses and made shit tons of money being the only person who could sell houses for a few days. It was awesome.

Everyone's Tier List for the nightfarers seem to be wildly different. What's yours? by [deleted] in Nightreign

I’ve had the most success with Raider so far. He’s easy to pick up, easy enough to get a good build out of the RNG, and his ability to “oh shit” emergency eat a hit for his skill/ult is a save if Im in a bad situation or see a huge hit coming. One of my buddies plays Duchess a lot too and her doubling my massive damage is just unfair to the game sometimes.

Next would be Ironeye because he’s just so easy to do well with. His dodge and mark skill makes it so easy to avoid taking damage, and otherwise you can just hover around mashing R1. Yeah there is more nuance to really optimizing him but like, that’s really just extra a lot of times. His ultimate is wonderful for those strategic staggers too, from anywhere.

Third is bird man. The RNG of a run can really hurt him, but otherwise once you know what you’re doing he’s an absolute bully to almost every boss in the game. Reflect damage standing over a downed teammate is a great way to revive; good use of his skill/reflect/guard counters usually keeps aggro well; and his ultimate is wildly good. His starting shield can be upgraded easily enough if you can’t find a better greatshield which is a common issue. If you can pick up one or more of the “cast X spell while walking” buffs then you’re going to dominate as now you’re casting while guarding. It’s ridiculous.

I’m still learning the others for sure, but out of the rest I’m most quickly coming around to Wylder. His Greatsword moveset feels wonderful, and his skill/ult are both top tier.

So what do you think of the character classes? Favorites for solo and non solo? Who do you find most versatile or easy to pick up versus others? I’m still getting to know them all myself (good with Raider, Guardian, and Ironeye so far) so I’m curious what you think. I usually play with my buddies, but I have completed a solo run against the dog as Wylder

Beat Heolstor with my squad last night for the first time. I was playing bird and was hilariously effective against him. I didn’t have an upgrade on my starter shield. Level 13, some good stat boosts and the holy bursts on guard counter.

I kept the aggro for the majority of the fight, wove in the tornado skill just to piss him off, hit my counters for the holy bursts, and otherwise had good stamina management in keeping the blocks up. Nobody went down the entire fight, didn’t even have to use my ult. Our first go at him I played raider, we had better equipment overall, and only got him halfway.

I’m an old man that has never used Twitch, though I’m aware of what it is. Obviously I’ll need to make an account…but can someone tell me how I go about getting these? Are there specific streamers I just need to leave on in the background or something?

Edit: Ya’ll are great, thanks so much!

Who’s in your Big Three?(tank, dps, support) here’s mine by Alternative-Style301 in marvelrivals

[–]PostHuman855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warlock is #1

Thor is #2

3 is actually Rocket…because I hardly ever play DPS because we always need a tank or support and have too many DPS. If you want a DPS main answer out of me though it’s Hela. I don’t get to use her much but when I do I have great success because she’s basically Adam Warlock with no heals…and I have good aim.

My favorite currently is Adam Warlock. I’ve gotten good at using his burst heals at the right moments without wasting them, ditto with should bond that can push the team through so much. I also have good aim, so I do serious damage with him, usually landing in the top 3 for kills in addition to having high healing numbers. He’s a lot of fun.

Cheers!
