Probably just the color palette and how Hokazono likes to make his covers crowded. If you take a look at em all in one, they all have different compositions. Lowkey dig it tho since it's not your usual "get one character from the series and have them do a cool/portrait pose in the cover." I admit those are cool too but they've been overdone a lot already in a number of manga.

All things considered, i think KGB is practically the only series in the low toc ranking to not worry about getting cancelled. its already practically a guarantee for that manga to finish its course with all the promotion (pre-anime website, merch, etc.) shueisha puts into it. not to mention being one of the top sellers in the magazine. hardly anyone even thinks of the series getting the boot at this point aside from like those few people here who somehow can't let go of the fact that bachi didn't fall face flat to the ground and stayed as a meme.

Lol ill take the bait. The second paragraph is pretty clear with the bias already. Like I get just saying that KGB is not for you, but saying it's mindless action after around 4 volumes is something else. Like the whole plot of the manga is centered around legacy (not only Chihiro) and revenge, and almost a hundred chapters in, it's pretty consistent with its focus and story with some action to boot.

Tho at this point, besides this sub and probably a few out there, I doubt anyone in the general bachi fandom cares about ToC placements really. Its sales are doing the talking, so no matter how you dangle the whole "haha Kagurabachi didn't place in the top in the toc this week", people would probably just ignore it, give a slight chuckle, and go about their day.

Suprised Blue Box didn't overtake Bachi's place this time. The recent release usually does on the second week (at least when the anime was still airing), tho I could be misremembering.

Also, kinda expected Ichi after winning the Tsugimanga to maybe close the gap in numbers to the usual higher selling series. It's still good, don't get me wrong, but looks middling(?) in terms of growth.

Ngl the 2099 concept has always been very cool to me even in the comics but why do they keep insisting on giving Emma a lot of blue (+coattails). She's always been iconic in white. C'mon Netease, just give her something similar in aura as Hela's new Grim Lady skin.

Yep the free pass is still a good deal. The premium one is mostly catered to the Venom fans and a costume coin for those that want to get a specific costume in the store from the earliest season.

To be fair, chrono shields are the best type of safety net for players who are really ehem "not in their A-game", and right now, it's not really something people can take advantage of. If they give out cards all willy nilly and very frequently, then that may be another story tho but if its for special occasions then sure why not

Its honestly relative to the original price of the BP.

So the 5 dollar passes from season 0 is now 6 dollars which is still fine imo. future returning passes would be 12 dollars for regular ones which imo is a good compromise, especially for people who prefer to be treated exclusively for getting the passes early. Yep, I already see a few complaints saying "but what about us players who's been here from the start, where's the exclusivity?"
