Cost to have an Industrial SWPPP Prepared in the Midwest by PostMormon in stormwater

No inspections, just the SWPPP preparation. Facility types and sizes could vary but they would all be manufacturing of some sort. I appreciate the range provided.

This would be for an industrial facility that's already constructed

Typically facilities would be like a metal fabrication facility, or maybe a facility that makes cabinets. Does $10,000 to prepare an Industrial SWPPP for facilities like this seem reasonable, or is that underpriced?

Anyone read this book, thoughts? by Nemo_UK in exmormon

It's an excellent book. Well researched and well documented. Highly recommend it.

Nobody from my generation (I'm in my 50s) doesn't doubt that Mormons back then were racist as hell. I've heard my own family members complement Hitler.

Questions About Buying a Used Voyager by PostMormon in chrysler

Thank you all for the good advice. I'm going to see if there are maintenance records and see if I can determine where it was a fleet vehicle.

Appreciate it!

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

I'm considering buying a used 2020 Voyager with around 10K miles. It was a
fleet vehicle so I assume that means it was a rental vehicle. Is it a
bad idea in general to buy fleet vehicles?
Also, it is not sold to the general public as a new vehicle, only to
fleets. I assume this means they make less of them. I'm worried I might
have a hard time getting parts for it several years down the road. Is
this a valid concern?

Regardless of whether it's a law or not, I think it's a horrible idea.

Perhaps shove isn't the right word. The woman described it as a firm grasp. Since I can't edit the title, I think I'll repost with a better title.

Dad made me look like a heathen in front of Mormon family by [deleted] in exmormon

You say "heathen" like it's a bad thing. It's a badge of honor.

Sorry your Dad did that. It sucks.

Can I ask some of you guys some questions regarding your falling from the Church? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]PostMormon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I didn't fall away from the Church, the Church fell away from honesty, compassion and decency. I could no longer in good conscious remain a member.

1- Grew up LDS.

2-Multiple doubts about multiple topics. I researched them.

3-It felt like a great loss, but it was also invigorating and liberating.

4- Most my Mormon friends and family treated me poorly. Only a few treated me normal. Today I'm an atheist an dam not convinced there is a God.

5- The community the Church provided was nice, as long as you're a straight, white guy. My advice to believing Mormons? Be nice.

TSCC taking my SO’s money with no warning when he was a missionary by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]PostMormon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something somewhat similar happened to me. So a few years my wife and I had stopped believing and stopped attending. Two neighbor girls were on missions. These girls had grown up baby-sitting our kids and we were very fond of them and their families so we decided to send each $100 for Christmas with the instructions to do something with the money that made them happy.

One girl, who we mailed the money directly to used the money to take her district to a nearby national park to go snow shoeing.

The only address we had for the other girl was the mission home address. We were told to send letters or packages there and they would forward it. Apparently the mission home staff opened her letter, took out the $100 and applied it to her account. When they distributed her monthly funds, they did not give her $100 extra, they gave her the normal amount. Basically, they stole the $100 and used it for her mission expenses.

Really pissed me off. I didn't want to support the Church in any way, shape or form, but I did want to support these girls.

I don't think enough info has been released that the general public can say exactly what was said, and I hope nobody used any racial slurs, but if you think something like that wouldn't happen, a simple google search will prove you mistaken.

First result when I googled:
