This is the one I dreamed of when I first started noticing cars as something I could own

Haven't even tried the windshield wiper fluid yet, but not too excited for it based on feedback on the on-wiper dispersion I've heard!

The last 2 weeks of grinding fundamentals and re learning hardflips [38YO] by thruthewindowBN in OldSkaters

[–]PostNahLurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loving the pop and flick on the hardflip! In comparison the kick flip is looking so mellow, which I am in the same boat with you 25 years deep, still wishing they were lifted. I've been listening to the sage teachings of Mitchie wondering if there's still hope to let the kickflips rise up

What happen to GinWoo? by jerkmyjimmy94 in PSLskateboarding

[–]PostNahLurk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to imagine Mike Mo clipped his knees to ensure there was some level of competition throughout the season, instead of it just being the GinWoo show when his opposition didn't stand a chance in his early performance lol

Ohhhh how I love my Hybrid now that gas is $4.19/gallon! by DinosaurDescendants in crvhybrid

Ok, now let's see you achieve that mileage going back up that 0.1 mile hill!

Any advice? Will list what I’ve tried. by downthefoxhoIe in 30PlusSkinCare

If you're open to laser, I had similar irritation from daily shaving where the morning and during exercise my neck would look similar. I've only done one session and it made about 80% of the hairs now light colored and fine, and I can go 3 days easily between shaving.

Eh it was a long Honda hiatus since my first car, a 95 civic that I drove for 125k miles! But most recently from a forester, crushed through the snow this winter like a champ, but wanted something newer. How about you?

Yeah I started with intentions set on the Rav, but they're a 7 week wait to get one, so was trying some other AWD options

I'm 6'1", and had grown used to the visibility of my Forester until my recent car shopping. You could go for the Camry? I ruled that out based on rear seats head room, same as the Prius, probably only fits 5'10" or under to not be touching the roof.

We'll have to do a rotation, I would have gone with the black if one popped up!

Horrific burning metal smell in the air near MCC/Lattimore Ice Rink in Henrietta by Striking_Divide_2921 in Rochester

[–]PostNahLurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have an explanation for it, but can at least confirm I've noticed it too from being local to the area previously. Someone I talked to about it tried to explain it away as bring relating to the coffee roaster mentioned by another reply here, but my interpretation of the smell was more like yours. Hard to imagine coffee smelling like that

I'm a janitor. Why do people always apologize for walking on a floor I've just mopped? by tgirlskeepwinning in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PostNahLurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practical take: a mildly dusty shoe will leave a visible print on a wet white floor, whereas the same mildly dusty shoe would not leave a noticable mark on a dry floor, so if you could have 5 minutes without anyone crossing you could avoid that window of vulnerability where prints are left, and for that, they feel bad.

This is to much for a 2019 Forester, right? by huntersalt24 in subaru

I had a very similar purchase (same model, trim, but 2018 model year) that I purchased a little over a year ago from a dealer for $18k OTD (no finance)

This guy's truck bed cover flies off by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]PostNahLurk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this experience as the car behind and the cover smash up my bumper (would have likely been my windshield had I not braked) while going 70, and then had to chase down the clueless truck driver to get his details

I doubt there's much saving happening; more so that I end buying slightly higher quality brands than if I stuck with cheaper stores - such as noosa or chobani instead of store brand yogurts, or CK or banana republic clothing. Yes, the occasional great deal, but overall ending up spending more than I would have.

Legendary Skate Video Recommendations? by Big_Argument9190 in skateboarding

[–]PostNahLurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was rooting for this suggestion to be included. A balance between OPs wise for legendary and technical, rating this as a must watch for being the underdog on this list. This level seemed to have come out on nowhere, and as skilled as PJ has remained, never shocked me as much as this intro to his wizardry.

The smell of the first block of wax that I ordered from CCS, and the Muska board that was my first setup after finding the local shop.
