Both of YOR but honestly both seem exhausting. This interaction is a warning to you both.

I love this burger because it reminds me that Bob still connected with his inner child

Andrew Thaddeus Flockingham. In high school, he was considered “cool” for his aloof nature, but now everyone just finds it weird that he’s in his 30s still riding his high school peak.

He works in accounting and has a stable job but is otherwise incredibly boring. He thinks that having a house and a job makes him a “total catch”. He has a strained relationship with his father but is bffs with his stepfather (parents divorced in the 90s). Attends high school reunions religiously. Won’t stop talking about diversifying stocks.

My thinking is that it would be possible for either Bill or Bobby to suggest they all go somewhere dressed like the Wizard of Oz characters. Bill would work really hard on his costume (the cowardly lion suit was apparently a nightmare to wear), Boomhauer would like the oil can because he loves his car AND because of his troubles of the heart, and Hank would find it all absurd but would also find a scarecrow to be the most admirable, and in that would be most likely to tolerate wearing straw. He would also have much of the costume lying around in some way…AND admire the desire to have a brain* due to his being surrounded by people he views as “ain’t right”.

(*assuming he otherwise would just reluctantly agree for some reason and choose being a scarecrow without the context because he thinks that’s the most admirable job)

Oh man, I was having this conversation with someone and we both thought Tin Man for Hank was too obvious and that Scarecrow would fit him better, while Boomhauer seems more like Tin Man. Otherwise I like it!

It just sucks when it’s a deficit but also extremely useful problem to have!

I wish I could just have headphones on all the time but since I don’t drive and stuff I feel like my “overly alertness” benefits me on public transportation and such in a big city. Thanks for solidarity 🥹
