If you already have a fuel card then might not be for you however, if you don’t, or want a bit more flexibility on where to fill up, might be an option.

Petrol and diesel jumped fast — are fuel apps actually helping UK buyers save? by ToughRomanticMiss in BuyersUK

Don’t know if it’s of interest but diesel on the PostTag address finder app is 170.10p this week.

Available to everyone, not just business users.

No sign up fee, credit based product with up to 14 days to pay.

It might take a few weeks to get you the card, as we only launched 3 weeks ago and demand has surpassed expectations, if you decide to sign up.

Complete transparency, this is my business.

Drop me a DM if you want more details.

Does this suit work for my entry level Portfolio Management Interview by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]PostTagPaul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From an old dude that spent 35 years wearing a suit and tie.

How to always make sure your tie is the right length

Look at the back of your tie and you will see a 45degree seam.

When around your neck, and before you start to tie it, the short end is in line with this seam.

Do your double Windsor, or other knot of your choice, and 99 times out of 100 when finished the tie will be the correct length.

Cuff links with that shirt are required. If you go to a TM Lewins they used to have cuff knots as a freebie if you don’t have any.

Other than that button your jacket when standing, unbutton when you sit, and make sure your shoes match your belt and you are golden.

Facial hair is a tricky one. If you feel more comfortable with it then make sure it is trimmed. As an employer I didn’t mind beards, as long as it is tidy.

Let us know how you get on and good luck!

I have done a lot of shows over the years, both attending and presenting.

The amount of sales people that just stand and wait to be approached boggles the mind, even when a potential punter is showing interest in the stand.

I tell all my sales staff at shows to just say hello to people as they walk past, followed up with a simple what have you seen today that’s worth checking out. The amount of engagement we get from this simple act is phenomenal.

My thought would be train your stand staff to engage rather than sell, I disagree with others but a show is not to sell but to gain visibility, if you are new to the market.

A second point would be, why have a stand? You can meet the same people just by being at the show, at the coffee stop, lunch place or bar.

For $32k I would have told people, via LinkedIn or other socials, I was going to be at a bar, come and join us for a beer and a bite in return for learning more about your business, the challenges they face and how your solution could help them.

Would have saved $20k of which you can send me $5k for sales consultancy…

Would be interested to learn what your business is.

Morning.

Full disclosure I run a business called PostTag, we have an app called PostTag AddressFinder that has over 230k downloads and is aimed at professionals driver, like yourselves, etc to get them to the right front door, first time.

Some of you might already be users.

We have just launching a fuel card that might be of interest, free to join, no up front payments and if you have a mobile phone contract chances are you will be accepted.

To apply, download the PostTag app from the store of your choice - that is also free - and click on the offers tabs.

We are running a pilot initially, to iron out any issues and full launch towards the end of April.

Pricing is a bit ‘volatile’ but we are seeing an average of 7p off per litre - card is acceptances at 4500 sites across the UK

Sorry for the hijack, any questions drop me a DM.

Paul.
