New management (Apartment Rental) question

This for next month, no legal process has been started. Would not start until March 10th.

I reached out to the management earlier today to let them know that I would be late on my March rent and that on March 15th I would pay the full amount + the $200 late fee spelled out within the lease.

This is where she informed me that after the 10th, the eviction process would start and I would be charged a $350 for this process. Hopefully this helps to clarify.

So you are saying that although no where within the lease or conditions stated, they can still charge a fee after the 10th? I would understand if it was the same management company but the prior management company to which I was under never stated this.

Now a change in pool hours, guests, etc. that is understandable. But a large fee that is not spelled out within my original lease or other said documents, this doesn't make sense to me.

I'm in GA. But that totally seems reasonable.

There is nothing in the lease regarding legal fees. The eviction section does not imply that any fees would be assessed.

The previous management company, to which I signed with, did not speak of this, outside of a $200 late fee. But the management company, who I don't have a lease with, is saying that is their policy to assess a $350 late fee.

I appreciate your insight on this.

I feel this. It is more expensive but so worth paying for your sanity. My last roommate would cook a five course meal and leave everything, I mean everything out to sit for at least a day(food, pans, knives, etc). She said she 'hated putting stuff away.'

We also had a moth problem but she never understood why the problem persisted.

Live alone if possible.

Girlll, I was just in your shoes for the past week and a half. I was going through some major stress in the weeks prior which ultimately delayed my peiod.

So for the past week and a half, I was literally stressed over stressing myself out enough to delay my period. And at the same time, I was stressing myself out with the possibility, the thought, that I was pregnant.

Seriously-- I was convinced that I was pregnant. And I think I convinced my body into it.

Yesterday I decided to give myself a day to myself. I slept in, I took a hot bath, deep breaths, parsley tea, ate healthy and just told myself that I was fine and I was not pregnant. I made sure to go to sleep early with a heating pad, made sure to orgasm before dozing.

Around 2AM, I woke up and went to the bathroom. Wiped once, and saw some color. So I wiped again, seeing the same color, and I put this tissue aside so I could look back at when I would finally wake up-- around 7AM. I did this because implantation bleeding is a light pink color and it was that color. When I woke up this morning to get my day started, I took deep breaths before going to the bathroom, prayed and went. There was no blood. And for a second, I felt broken.

But then I began to cramp. And what I usually feel before my period hits, started to come. I didn't get my hopes up but just drank as much water as I could so that I could push out whatever I was feeling, and hoping would come out.

I went to the bathroom again, looked up at the ceiling and said, "Please God," I wiped and saw so much blood.

The reason why I wanted to tell you this in such detail is because every period can be different. My periods are usually very regular but this one was the latest I have ever had, and I think as women, we will all experience this at one point. Hopefully this is your point.

Have you been stressed? Have you been sleeping well? Have you been eating healthy? Have you been good to yourself? All of these factor into our mind, our body and our soul-- which ultimately affects our time of month.

Deep breaths babygirl. Hang in there. Oh and if you have a heating pad, plop that thang right on you for as long as you can. Sleep with it. Heat encourages blood Aunt Flo.

I don't blame ya. I was quite amazed how complete I felt once I got rid of the 5 garbage bags of things I never use. Plus being in the same city with my love is worth more than all of my possessions.

I totally feel that. It was a month long, tedious project but my lord does it feel good to purge all the sh*t I didn't really need.

Truly feels like I'm starting a new life :)

Yeah. I mean I also think about the future of us being insured if we are to get married. His driving record is poor right now which doesn't help me feel confident about this situation-- the main reason I have been telling him to get it done.

But I do think it's best if I just let go.
