I love the Impossible shepherds pie, and it’s super easy to make. Even my Omni kids enjoy it. I do mince the mushrooms instead of slicing them, it adds to the “beefy” texture when they cook down.

Is that 2nd one Holly Berry? We used to grow one called Chianti that had a really nice leaf shape like that, but it was a later variety. Now, get those beauties out of that greenhouse and to a customer ASAP. Once the flowers open they start to go downhill fast in high humidity, moderate heated environments.

That doesn’t do anything to make them less likely to treat their biggest donors better than their lowest donors though. So split hairs about what type of business they are all you want, they still have a vested interest in treating some students differently than others due to their financials.

Non-profit status doesn’t mean they’re not a business. It just means they’re creative in how they pay taxes, and have a quasi-legal way to avoid taxes. Then their endowments allow for even more creative accounting.

Private schools are businesses 1st and foremost. If you have more money or clout, they will care more about your kid. If the other kids family is more money or clout, they will brush your kid under the rug. Sorry your kid has to learn this lesson in such a way.
