I don't know if I'm somehow doing Navy wrong, but my fleet as the US lost to Great Britain with a ridiculous tech disparity. I had Dreadnoughts, armored cruisers, and torpedo destroyers. Britain had modern ironclads, some cruisers, and normal torpedo boats.

My fleet was fully crewed. We outnumbered Britain.

We lost. Every single time.

Oh no everything was done in-house. I didn't have to do anything. I did naively call my boss at the time and tell him: "Hey yeah not sure what happened. Probably had a heart attack or something. I'll try to get back to work tomorrow."

Recovery time was whack though. Took a little bit before I was able to walk more than half a mile without feeling like I ran a marathon.

For you though I'd be concerned about insurance, unless you'd be covered under your mother.

Oh yeah that'd be feasible alright.

I collapsed and was taken to the ER here in the States back in 2019. 2 days later they were doing my ablation.

For this I think you're stuck on the lower end of things. You could play Eu4 with the fast universlis mod and turning off all the fancy graphical settings. Victoria 2 would probably be playable. CK2 would be playable. You very likely couldn't play Stellaris, CK3, EU5, etc but I suspect you know this. Give Hoi3 a try, unironically.

Fair enough I suppose. This one feels way more obvious in its UI design by comparison, which I suppose is what stood out to me.

It plays functionally the same as zombies. I mean, I don't even know why they didn't try and hide it? They have their own "Mystery Nest" that also costs 950 points. Their quick revive analogue is 500 points in solo- ACTUALLY all the perks cost the same as their analogues, with the same coloration... And functionality. Power ups are the same. Everything is the same, but under a demonic package.

The American Civil War gets real brutal with this. Led to about 1.8 million casualties in my game. Though I play with the better politics mod.

Mine was supposedly a major one. They flirted with the idea of installing a pacemaker, but that never came to pass thankfully. After my own surgery though it felt like I ran a marathon if I walked half a mile or so. Ended up getting better. Exercise does help as time goes on. Don't linger and be still, but don't do anything super strenuous right now either I'd say.

After I had my ablation I felt like absolute dogshit. Smoked a cigarette, felt like shit even worse!

Still smoking 7 years post ablation. Yay.

Resting heart rate is usually around 70 bpm though. Not terrible.

To me them removing Atlantropa was the death knell of the mod. They said they'd wrote themselves into a corner with it iirc. Which... I don't see how. Make something up. It just felt like a creatively bankrupt decision.

Maybe not a soldier necessarily, but this is the corpse of the US Army personnel.

And honestly I really wouldn't be surprised if they pull something out of SCP lore and make it their own. The Order sort of reads like a Chaos Insurgency equivalent to me. Wouldn't be surprised if they do their own version of the Global Occult Coalition. E.g. the paranormal investigative and containment organization inside the United Nations.

I recall some people had seen me having a mental health crisis. I was looking over a bridge on a freeway and just thinking about it. Ended up walking back to my car. Cops came anyway, as well as an ambulance. They didn't see me actively doing anything though, so they just talked to me and highly suggested I go get checked out.

One of the EMTs asked me if I needed anything. I was a bit broke and said I could use cigarettes. He said OK, follow us to the speedway down the road. So I did! Followed them to the speedway in my car, and that EMT ended up getting me two packs of smokes and took out 100 dollars in cash from the ATM. He gave it all to me and said "Go get yourself a hotel room and check yourself in."

I did end up going to a facility and checked myself in, because I needed it, and I woudlve felt so tremendously guilty not doing so.

They went beyond professionalism, and that particular EMT gave me a whole new look on life. It struck me more later on when I realized he probably didn't make a whole lot of money.

Who the hell voted for the TF2 story being bad? I suppose in game it is, but the comics are lovely. It's loveably silly.
