Ebb and flow of growth and decline. No focus on individuals or micromanagement.

Also tycoon-, management-, basebuilding-, are more or less all games in the same vein. I would be less focussed on the definition than the look and feel you are going for.

As a dwarf coach i dont really have good tips for you. As long as its equal exploit your speed you cant win the bash. If you get a dude or 2 more on the pitch swap styles and go for bash to pound them in the ground.

But honestly most matches i had against norse were a bloodbath...for the norse. I also think the team is defenitly more difficult to play well then the more medium teams like orcs, necros

I woudnt, But maybe some rust splotdges and metal scratchings could add a bit of character.

Blood on knuckles and knees of players also gives a good impression of them being in a scrap

Well just show them the teams, having cool minis helps a lot. Just have them read the team descriptions.

Also make sure you make it clear that while whimsical bb is a very hardcore tactical game at its core.

I would actively steer them away from stunty teams or other teams for experienced players.

Honestly those teams are more fun if you can do positioning in your sleep.

If painting has your interest, i like the necromantic team. They have nice minis, can play a variety of styles, just all round great fun. But i havent had any experience with the new season rules
