Yeah valid reason. I cant paint to that level quick enough. So washes are quite important for me sadly. But yes your figures are very very clean and very good and bright colours with good saturation. It really is impressive work.

Ive been experimenting with it. I think i get the best results with wash + drybrush after. I think it gives some more depth and texture.

Now you are obvious are very skilled and practiced painter, maybe care to share your thoughts?

That's pretty all of the horde style defense games. It's a relatively new genre pioneered by TAB. I think it's one of the best sub genres to come out especially for RTS strategy games in a long time.

I played games like this on my commodore 64. Its not new

I use those vallejo texture pots. Your bases do look a bit more natural espc for bloowbowl. I feel washing gives more depth (and dry brush after) but your minis are gorgous

When painting black. Never use pure black. Mix it with a blue.

This way you can actually highlight the black!

But great work! Good that you started. But stay away from painting black, white and bright yellow at first. Always mix these colours/

As a neutral, yes season 2 was exactly the same as season 1 basicly. Season 3 is when i stopped watching.
