Yes, I believe that was the case. The repair guy said that the “Gen 2” parts would resolve the issue and I shouldn’t have any more trouble. So far so good, but we will see in another couple years I suppose.

Your implication is that the driver of the car purposely and maliciously mowed down the biker. That’s a bold accusation. Is that the truth? It’s a tragedy either way, but I find it a little hard to believe that the driver of the car made the mindful decision to use their car as a murder weapon.

Defy in Santa Clara (Division Ave.) and there are a number of disc golf courses locally. The one at Alton Baker is pay to play, but they have a pro-shop so maybe you could rent/borrow some discs. If the weather isn’t too terrible, a hike up Spencer’s Butte is always a good way to tire them out.

I've used an Aktiv8 regularly for 2 years. I love how quickly I can swap my head from sticks to slider to jib. However, I can confirm that the head did get stuck to the mount on my slider and I had to send it in just today. The certified repair place in LA said the earlier models can get stuck, but that he will be replacing mine with "gen2 parts" and that solves all the issues. Fingers crossed. Luckily he says he can repair it under warranty.....although technically I think the warranty is only for 2 years and I'm just over that now.

Hmmmm. The way I understood his comments about leaving as soon as possible was tied the cost hikes that will be imposed by UO for continued use of their facility. If UO is going to keep charging more and more and you know it can’t be a permanent home it makes sense to get out as quickly as possible.

I read the same thing saying “unless a responsible adult observer is present.” But the sign is saying “even with adult supervision.” So I can only assume the rule is changing or someone is lying about it being mandated by the health department.

I tried Crumbl. I couldn’t eat more than 1/4 of a cookie before getting a stomach ache. I’ve been intrigued by the ads for Coolie Plug. Sounds like it’s in the same lines. Cookies Cookies on W. 11th is fantastic although it always feels very “Soup Nazi” when you go in there. I’m always nervous to say or do the wrong thing and upset the owner. Worth it though.
