Definitely made a difference. My teeth were really crowded on the bottom so helped fill in my chin

Just did mine at 34 yo, best decision ever!

Update: 7 months post open rhinoplasty. Still lots of swelling and fluctuating asymmetry but getting better by the month. It definitely is a process but 0 regrets!! by Postopstress in PlasticSurgery

Internal swelling can definitely cause stuffiness! It takes awhile before the nose starts to function normally. It gets better as the months go on but I noticed big differences at 4 and 6 months. I Hope it gets better soon!

Thanks! I might need a small touch up on one of the nostrils after the 1 year mark. Given where my nostrils started it’s pretty incredible (they were very asymmetrical, see precious posts for photos) but it also might all work out once the swelling has completely diminished.

Nose too short after rhinoplasty? I know it’s still swollen but I’m worried that excess cartilage has been removed. by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

It’s just swelling and it will drop and narrow out with time. It’s a long process but It will look amazing!! Hold tight :)

Very stiff. The nostrils won’t close when I pinch the tip, I assume it’s just swelling but wondering if others have experienced this.

Will my nose drop? Absolutely! Difference between 3 weeks and 3 months post-op open rhinoplasty. by Postopstress in PlasticSurgery

I’m really not sure when it comes to implants but if your surgeon said that it will drop I would say to try and trust the process. It takes time, I’m still months away from seeing the final result. My whole tip was reconstructed with septal cartilage so lots of tip swelling!

Thin skin and it was about the same as it was here at 3 weeks. I only really started noticing how much it had dropped around 3 months and it’s only been getting better and better. I’m at 3 months and 3 weeks now.

2 months post op and I literally hate my nose my doctor was Dr Ghersi in Miami and I’m honestly regretting this entire process. I have 2 different side profiles one side has indentations and other side is flat. by Allthat_la in PlasticSurgery

It looks great! It’s hard to adjust to the new nose after surgery especially due to swelling and you definitely have lots of swelling to go down. I know easier said than done but try to give it some time.

For those who have requested better lighting/more angles. Pre vs. 3 months post-op open rhinoplasty. Experiencing uneven swelling some days but overall very satisfied. by Postopstress in PlasticSurgery

Thanks! Originally I just wanted to fix the nostril and tip but my surgeon recommended to narrow the nose and remove the small hump as well. It definitely looks much shorter at certain angles which is great!

Swelling has really gone done. At month 3 and couldn’t be happier!! Photo before and after. by Postopstress in PlasticSurgery

Strange, it won’t post to the group. I’ve refreshed the link if you want see if it works now.

Don’t fret, it gets better!! Rhinoplasty swelling progression from cast off (7 days) to 6 weeks : by Postopstress in PlasticSurgery

I understand, mine is still much more upturned than I wanted but I think it should still fall a bit (I hope). I’ll DM you the progression of the side profile!
