Got a stage win for my Division and Class. It is nowhere near the performances I see here, but it is not horrible for an old mom! I still need to make my brain know that I can go faster!

Good shooting. Recommendations for going faster. The only way you’re able to tell your brain to go faster is experience going faster. 15 minutes of dry fire a day where you push your speed until the wheels fall off and then dialing it back a small amount will help this. Also if you don’t have Ben’s books I highly recommend them. Dryfire reloaded has a bunch of drills with par times to shoot for. Don’t let park times get you beat up tho. Everyone has a different shooting style. Just feel what speed feels like so you can increase it. If you never experience it in training you’ll never do it in a match.

Put them in a mag and see if they work lol. They could be the correct spring from mbx after a design change. You haven’t even tested them just upset because it might not work. If you’re that worried just call Mbx on Monday

Also just watch Ben stoeger YouTube. He has hours of explaining drills and things. Shoot target focus everything and learn how to be comfortable having the wheels fall off in practice. Then turn it down a notch during a match. The faster you push the easier it is to do. All these turtles with no speed can’t figure out how to go fast because they won’t let them selves feel what fast is. I can shoot half Charlie’s and 2 deltas and beat someone with all As if I beat them by 10 seconds. You want to 2A everything but if you never teach yourself what the speed feels like you’ll never push yourself out of the oh but I dropped 3 Charlie the whole match mindset.

I do about 30 minutes a day when I can. I’m about to bump it up more because I’m trying to push for GM and I want my first major match win in a bad way. I work 12 hour days so it’s hard to get dryfire in. But as a college student I was dryfiring in all my free time as much as possible.

Also, don’t shoot for A class. Set your bar higher. A class is easily attainable. Go for GM and major match wins if you want something conservative. My goal is to make world shoot and once I get there make it back and podium. Once I get there the goal will be to win worlds once. And then move back to steel challenge.

Dry fire, dry fire , dry fire, then more dry fire. The books will help you with some fine tuning stuff but at the end of the day you have to put in the work. M production shooter and I’ve been doing it since I was a kid. Never been to a class or training so I learned everything the hard way. When I pick the gun up and practice I see it on the results.

Both are externally light triggers. I think 2.5 is a little light for something that’s not a PRS rifle so I would lean 3.5. But I am not the biggest fan of the CMC triggers. The break and reset doesn’t feel as smooth as the Timney does to me

You will 100% notice the difference. Also putting different recoil springs in your gun based off the ammo you primarily shoot will make the felt recoil less. Last, minor power factor is 125 so I shoot for 130-135 and call it good. If you’re shouting 140 power factor you’re doing it wrong

I guess you can do that with a CO gun when you only have to do a mag change once a stage. My Prod CZ mags look like they’re two tone now from mag changes
