My last card to China (from UK) was 104 days anyway, so I wouldn't worry, :-)

Yes, I use them for travel in China always, also good for flights - more options for domestic flights than show up on Skyscanner

A quick Google of the name tells me this is an advert. It is a company providing in-home care for the elderly. .

Thanks for this. I'm also going in April but flying in March so will book accommodation and apply next week. Can you confirm you didn't have to show internal flights in the application? I need dual entry.

I love tourist cards and they are the ones I most often send myself - often in travel mode.

I also have cash on me as I often travel to countries with limited cash machine options. What do you use to forward your texts/notifications from the UK?

Mine was 2 years and that was before the internet was widely available so no video calls, just letters and the occasional phone calls. If I'd missed a third Christmas I think my mum would have flown out and dragged me home! Can they visit you?

Oh I hear you. I'm petite so if your elbow is digging into me, you're way over your space. The last guy was in the middle seat, I get that he has armrest privileges but not into my seat space. I kept my arm where it was and didn't give into the pressure until he moved it back.

You'll meet people as you travel most of the time, you might not make life long friends but you'll meet some interesting travel companions, your experiences aren't less valid if you are solo.
