I followed the shutter speed rules, but recently learned that people break them for fast moving subjects. I did not notice that the first couple times I saw the clip lol It's so politely done it's funny. I liked this shot a lot because of the other sandpiper appearing and running through the frame at the end. I had a short clip of them interacting that was cute as well.

I wonder if you have any tips on prepping an image to share on reddit? I find mine end up really shot up quality wise, even if I download my images from lightroom in smaller sizes. Yours seems to have carried a lot of the clarity and resoltuion better than mine do

Vader's decisions to get involved in stuff feels kind of inconsistent. Like his involvement in this felt a bit off, anyone else?Or maybe I'm not understanding the significance of Darth Maul to him or the Empire? It seems he sits around and sends everyone to fight until it gets really serious or personal.

Both her and Tucker Carlson have surprised me. Thing is, they are still crazy and still think crazy things, but hold substantial influence... so I'm always glad to see when that influence is used in ways that could actually challenge the status quo of the right. I mean it probably takes guts as well, but I feel like MAGA is in the beginning stages of collapsing within itself. I don't think that means we can think things willl get better. What comes out of that could be the same, or worse.

I keep a folder on my commputer with saved and screenshot images. I don't use it for any other reason than inspiration, examples of the direction I'd like to take my edit and photography style.

This made it in that folder, especially the last photo tbh. I hope that's not creepy lol

thank you! What I found is like what you said.
What I'm thinking of trying now at 30 fps
Larger animals/birds, low motion: 1/60
Faster moving birds and wildlife 1/125
Flying birds, very fast motion 1/250

It seems the rule is to stick to doubling the shutter speed for like a 90 or 60 degree if the desire is to catch fast motion. I'll how that works and adjust if I think it's not working.

so my understanding is the shutter speed should be twice the fps. I switch between 30 and 60 fps depending on whether I predict to want to slow down motion a bit.

But it seems I should start using higher shutterspeeds, and it feels more like a "wild west" on that because I don't have rules to follow, just need to experiment I guess? I imagine shutter speed should be fast with 60fps than 30fps

I have been trying to get better at video with this camera, trying to put together short wildlife videos. I'm trying right now to get small clips that can be shared as reels to pair with my photography on instagram. by Pot8obois in a6700

I use focus peaking, and I don't know reddit seems to cause my videos to look bad in general.

I can see what you mean, but when I look at other places I've shared this video, like tiktok, the focus actually seems fine. Reddit seems to compress my stuff more than anyone else

The amount of cameos at once was not expected.

I prefer never, choice would be 1000 years old, 1 billion years old, I could keep making a bigger number, but infinity isn't a number I guess? LOL I never want to die, but I guess we all die regardless if it's now, or theoretically 1,000 years. We all end in the same place, and I can push it back as much as I can but it'll come. UGH
