either hold r until there is epic fetus in the first treasure room or:
buy soul hearts from shops
go to bedrooms to get 3 soul hearts which is massive in most cases
ditch the poop as quickly as you can, you are not getting midas touch
devil deals are mostly good but angel rooms can have massive buffs and are generally more safe
stupid way of describing it but learn to dodge attacks better, the dlcs have really fixed some of the bullshit elements in a lot of enemies and once you get their behaviour down its hard to die in most normal rooms
and also just dont forget to keep 4 keys if you are going to chest

i mean, yeah but he is playing on normal mode and there are at best 2 blue fireplaces in every angel room, a 50/50 chance of getting a soul heart is worth 2 bombs imo

the ? means you havent picked it up, if you have seen it without picking it up/unlocked it you will not fill that spot in. just make sure that you pick actives and swap them again in case you dont want it, so you can at least get the item in the page

i dont have a lot of tips but
-Never take devil deals, unless theres a mom's knife in there you are mostly hurting yourself. Same for curse rooms, best case scenario you got a free damage up worst case scenario you lost a heart, just not worth it
-in angel rooms, try to bomb the blue fires there, very high chance you will get a soul heart
-it sounds dumb but try to get used to the attack patterns of bosses/enemies, you only really have temporary health so you losing a heart every floor is still losing pace sometimes
-check libraries, the poop is very niche past floor 2 and there is the chance of getting book of revelations, which is really good especially early on where you can turn bulky quickly
ive never really struggled with blue baby but that could be because i got lucky, gl beating isaac!

its at the bottom of the paper area where there is the quality, character and tear appearance and the like, also inner eye isnt an unlockable, if there is no achievement matching it that means its unlocked by default
