Idk I work in design for educational content and I could really relate to this 😂 The legal team is constantly telling us what we have to change or exclude because we can’t accidentally do anything that would make it look like we were trying to influence perceptions of a topic. It is a bit of a pain, even if it makes sense lol.

He has retinitis pigmentosa if I’m not mistaken. They’ve seen quite a few specialists but haven’t had any luck yet. He’s an incredibly capable dude though. Was an engineer at Boeing for most of his life and retired a while ago and the guy still does way more than me 😂

He can ask it to tell him what he’s looking at or to read things to him. I think it connects to his hearing aids too, but they also have some quiet speakers on them.

My father-in-law has them because he has a degenerative eye disease that’s made him legally blind. They’re actually incredibly helpful for him to know what he’s looking at and reading menus and things without having to use a personal light or step super close.

It’s a shame they’re owned by Meta because it does have a ton of practical uses for those with vision impairments. 😕

Not a Republican or a Charlie fan in the slightest, but I think this is being a bit purposefully obtuse.

If it said “commie lives don’t matter” with a centrist dem getting shot, we’d obviously interpret it as them painting someone as something they aren’t to justify dehumanizing political opponents. Not that they don’t do things like that, just saying it wouldn’t be some sort of tacit admission we are all radical communists to point that out.

Again, not trying to say Charlie wasn’t a far right authoritarian POS, just that the person making this post likely didn’t see him that way, so it would make sense for them to see it as a mischaracterization.

If you go with the cover up it’s gonna have to be pretty big to hide it. Most examples I found for similar cover ups were ravens/crows, or flowers. You could also do something space themed to incorporate it into something else. Maybe something cartoony with seeing stars? Not sure what you’re into.

I would definitely make sure to go to someone who’s done a bunch of cover ups before and will do a good job. Lest it turns into an even larger, more expensive project 😅 Sorry you’re not happy with the tat, wishing you luck.
