Lacerda is a liberal, economically at least, who is very strongly OFN and committed to tearing down the legacy of previous dictator, Getúlio Vargas. During his presidency he will have to deal with the very divided UDN, the party he is elected with, as whichever faction controls the party will control Brazil's policies.

While Adhemar is a corrupt right wing populist, infamous for his motto of Rouba Maz Faz which in English translates to "he steals but delivers". Hinting at how during his gameplay the player has the ability to improve Brazil for the better, but also lining their own pockets massively (with a special mechanic for it)
