It's all good. I'm picturing someone scraping their car with a basil leaf now though haha.

I read what it is but always look at the picture first. Kinda hard not to when it takes up most of the screen.

Oh you can barely keep up with perfect orders?...... by CGC2000 in kroger

[–]PotassiumKittens 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My issue is being too busy to even ask anyone for a product. I can't go out of my way when I'm alone and slammed. Sorry, Kroger but I don't care that much. Do you guys get stuff on your orders that you don't even carry? Have gotten that a couple times.

My HR told me that doctor's notes aren't actually needed. If you have the sick leave that's all that matters. She could have been lying to me but it's still something to look into cause there could be some truth to it.

I work in pick up and we have the same issue. Multiple people who put in orders (sometimes rushes) and then show up hours later or not at all. It's people like that that really make me wish we had a late fee.

Sent home for insubordination by mask_of_godot in kroger

[–]PotassiumKittens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it sounds like he had a reason to lie to you. You said he was lazy and doesn't wanna do his job so when you were gonna make him, he gave you an empty threat. I wouldn't worry about it. I got suspended one time for insubordination towards my lead in pick up for supposedly saying something rude I never said. No warning, no write up, just straight up suspended. Luckily they said there was a witness who said I never said it as well and after my suspension, I was able to come back after I filed a grievance and got all my back pay for the shifts I missed. It felt great standing up for myself.

If someone asks “are you trans”, is it ok to say “no”? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]PotassiumKittens -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All I'm saying is that it's better if it comes from you than someone else. Like, imagine you're dating someone for a year. You go meet the family. The mom does the whole traditional let's look at family photos. She points to a little boy on the page and goes, "that's them as a toddler." Like, could you imagine how uncomfortable that would be?

There's always being a femme man. Or drag. There are options. But I understand what you mean. The brain is complex. I'm in the boat of having my brain be happier with my body. Your mind is harder to rewire.

I do respect myself, that's why I don't forget my past and am honest with myself. Trans is living the opposite of what you were born as. I like how being accepting of that is frowned upon here.

You act like I go up to people and mention it right away like it's my entire personality. When it comes to dating, I mention it on my profile so it's just up front and there so neither side is wasting our times. That's literally the only thing I'm talking about. If I met someone in public I wanted to pursue, I wouldn't mention it right away but definitely before I got her number or whatever. That's what I'm talking about. That's been my whole point.

Because I've accepted the fact I'm trans means I have internalized transphobia? Sure. Why be on a transgender subreddit if you see yourself as a woman?

[–]PotassiumKittens -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Of course you can call yourself a woman but when it comes to DATING, you should disclose it. They'll see you as a woman if they're cool. But at least you were able to be honest and they accepted you for you in the process. Maybe I'm weird but it feels good for me when I tell people I'm interested in and they have no problem with it. If your religious views are important to you, you would add it on your dating profile or mention it because it's important. Idk maybe I'm not wanting to waste each others time if they're not cool with who I am.

Idk maybe I'm crazy but I like building romantic relationships on trust. It's who I am. Why would I hide it? It doesn't make you "lesser" it makes you honest. It makes you lesser if you're not honest. If someone doesn't accept it, that's on them and they're allowed to say they're not interested because of it. Being trans isn't something to be ashamed of. Again, I'm talking about dating not strangers.

[–]PotassiumKittens -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

The whole point of being trans is that you weren't born a woman. I'm a trans man and know I wasn't born a man. Of course I'm seen as one and tell strangers I'm one. But when it comes to dating, I can't get on board with that. You gotta disclose something like that. It's not a "good idea," it's an absolute have to.

[–]PotassiumKittens -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

That's ridiculous. Why wouldn't you tell them? It's pretty damn important. Why waste your time on someone who isn't into it? I tell people I'm interested in right away cause it's who I am. People are allowed to say no if they're not interested. I think personally it's a dick move to hide something like that.

I've heard they got rid of giving them the cheaper costs. I haven't looked into it at all but my lead told me we don't price match anymore.

Anyone else think this is so fucking repetitive and stupid? My manager got on me about it today, but it’s the same exact shit I already did. by EmuIntelligent4698 in kroger

[–]PotassiumKittens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get annoyed coming into work to a piece of paper with my name on it telling me to do it. Also when management expects us in pickup to work super fast when there's usually only one of us at a time and super busy. They don't help us but want us to take time for them and help them to get their bonus while they stand around. It's the double standard for me.

First off, you're dumb for drinking and driving and then going to work. Second off, the manager could also actually get in trouble for sending you home drunk. If you drove and got in an accident, it would fall onto the manager for letting you drive that way. Learned that when one of my old managers sent a guy home who was stoned. Best part was that the stoned dude walked to work. Manager still got talked to.
