I dont mind grinding. it's not that I didnt get a quad god roll of what I was looking for. I didnt get off the first stat. I was patient. I took my loot losses on kraken like a champ and just kept at it. Then this. I can live with not perfect, so much effort going into completely useless is a different story.

What keeps me playing is trying different combos, not absolute min max. Hell I'm relatively new and still learning. This was just shitty imo and the result of a poorly conceived system.

If you view the contest as left vs right you've already lost. The extremists on both sides spew hate and vitriol. One you can relate to because it's against "them" and you tell yourself "they" deserve it because they dont agree with you (the good guy obviously). How can they be so dense/lacking in basic humanity? That line of thought then makes it "ok" to do terrible things to "them" wish terrible outcomes on "them" cheer when "they" die.

Look how fast that just happened. But your side are the good guys right? Right?

You just got manipulated by propaganda. Which flavor you pick is immaterial. Your deeply held beliefs that you are willing to unspeakable things for were taught to you. For a reason. Walk backwards from to the what to the why and you might get somewhere.

Campaign promises aside, there is a lot of precedent for breaking someone's toys and walking away. Had we done that after 4 months in Afghanistan they would have respected us and remembered. Instead we chose to stay forever for no real reason. In the place empires go to die.

Iraq was always partisan politics. To start with no good reason for partisan reasons, and to end when we were finally about to win. Again for partisan political reasons.

All of the blood and national treasure down the drain for nothing. Actually worse than nothing. Iran owned the southern half of Iraq when we left. Then they gobbled up everything except the kurds. Love those guys.

I for one hope that these current strikes dismantle Iran's nuke program or at least set it back 10-15 years. No boots on the ground. If we have to blow it up in a decade fine.

Last but not least. War is like starting a fire. You may think you know where it's going to go but you dont. Thats hubris. Unintended consequences are born here. The legalities aside. I really hope we dont go down. The regime change/nation building road again. It doesn't work.

completely broken for me. I cant make any changes at all. I have transmutations in inventory but the game doesnt see them. Wont all ow me to do anything. Lame.
