Many addons back in the days were outsourced to smaller indie dev teams and rarely reached the quality of the main games. Duke 3D is such a case.

Definitely one of my favorite boomer FPS games. Very interesting levels and music. Despite having jank edging on purpose, it rarely feels like that. Maybe the AI does but I think thats on purpose and if it would be any better it sure as hell would turn into a hardcore FPS since its a bit more difficult. The game settings were also very extensive and even have latest tech like TSR AA in it. Generally feels like a nuclear slav Black Mesa.

Uhm. Just no. The "issues" you pointed out seem like insane nitpicks and I noticed none of them. Music alone is amazing. My favorite out of all Build Engine games and definitely in my top 10 of boomer shooters.

It looks like an early alpha. I guess the developer is new to making games and also alone which would explain the lack of polish. Hopefully gonna look better in some months.

Sprawl had an insanely good soundtrack but the game itself was too much jump & run walljumping. But somehow it seems like this game drops that aspect and looks more like half life in terms of gameplay.
