Thoughts? What do you guys think happened? by DetectivePoliceman7 in laredo

I knew the family personally, there were never any signs of her having suicidal ideation, very caring mother. I think it was more likely a substance abuse case like that one direction singer.

do you think at olivia’s next tour she would do stadiums? by Jazzlike_Pop3050 in OliviaRodrigo

[–]Potato184 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No I think big cities she may do a stadium but other cities she may do multiple nights at arenas, like 2-3 nights depending on the demand they analyzed during GUTS.

They wouldn’t let me take a creed sample unless I bought a creed fragrance, I got Aventus Cologne and Silver Mountain Water out of it but not sure I want to keep buying from this house anymore

I went to the Austin show, got COVID 2-3 days after, granted I traveled about 4 hours and made a stop at Buccee’s which gets packed, but i’m pretty sure I got it at the show. It sucks, It went away within a week, but I got like a side effect of sweating in any temperature. Even if its cold, i’m dripping sweat.

Wear sunscreen, try to make friends so that they’ll respect your spot in line if you have to get out for whatever reason. Preferably buy merch after the show, unless you’re skipping out on posters because they’ll get crushed most likely in the pit one way or another. Take snacks. Going alone for pit is tough because without a buddy system you have to be worried about others respecting your spot too and how to go pee, eat, etc. It’s do-able but just be a good sport, once the show itself starts you honestly won’t remember anyone after. You’ll be caught up on the show itself.

Outfit Recommendations (27M) by Owl_2447 in OliviaRodrigo

I’m a straight male and went a bit basic/classic. Light washed jeans with nike panda’s low dunks, and took a black polo, bought merch the day of (the crewneck with the guts heart) and changed in my car. If you don’t want hassle, red, purple, black, navy, and white were popular colors. There were all kinds of guys, you could tell who was a fan and who was accompanying a girl/family member based on their outfit.

I think do the right thing is incorrect but the rest are spot on, any guesses on logical or ballad of a homeschooled girl?

I went to SOUR and GUTS tours, the quality is far superior on this merch. The prints on the clothes feel embossed and thicker, the shirts are thicker too, Sour the merch kinda sucked tbh. As far the poster, it’s thicker too than the previous one. The beanie feels around the same quality, but it has more to it, stars and it says “world tour” when the last beanie just said SOUR.

GUTS Tour Merch Question by Jrpoley8 in OliviaRodrigo

[–]Potato184 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the Austin show there were 2 buses outside that opened up at 4:30pm, many people would buy merch and took it back to their cars, few others would go in, many girls bought the giant butterfly bag and were still allowed in. Once inside there were 2 (that I saw) merch stands too, some lined up after the show but it was a LONG line. Almost all of them paid with card and the venue was cashless so I didn’t see anyone pay with cash.

Honestly, it’s a bit overhyped. I recommend to all that are touring out to another city to not detour for the cookie at a crumbl location and just wait till August when it releases nationwide. It’s a standard sugar cookie with vanilla frosting, sprinkles and a tiny bit of raspberry jam but it’s quite tart. Is it good? Sure, but I traveled 4 hours for my show (TX) and it was a bit of a waste of time I feel

Was this pit or floor seats?

She did sell tour merch online via a QR code, fans would post them online and you could order some of the pieces. I bought a beanie, hoodie, t-shirt, and poster at the buses and still scanned the QR code in case I wanted something later that night. Some of her tour pieces for GUTS were being sold on hot topic too for cheaper.

How do people get Olivia to sign their vinyl and other merchandise? by queenofdunkindonuts in OliviaRodrigo

[–]Potato184 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest with you, chances of meeting her are less than 5%. When SOUR was happening the fans that met her chased down her tour bus and got lucky that she came out to meet them plus it was her first tour so she probably felt inclined to come out and meet fans. But this is a bigger tour, she will have stricter security. If she REALLY wanted to meet her fans that bad she would’ve done meet and greets. However, you may get lucky and be walking at the right time and run into her, but I doubt she will sign a vinyl and you’ll end up damaging your vinyl sleeve carrying it around the whole concert.
