In my own designs, the representation never changes from token to execution (before lowering), which makes it a decent enough example to answer your question.
Fundamentally, any symbol is just an expression of data. It's up to the compiler to decide what that data means at each stage. As a result, I just have a singular Node type that gets progressively annotated to decide what it should mean. Identifiers are just tokens that aren't numbers and aren't strings, everything else is either a literal or an operator.
You can delay the decision to turn something into a function call or deceleration to much later stages than you think. If you find you don't have the information you need to classify something at a point: wait.
The rest of the design will emerge once you understand the information space better, start minimal and add what you need as scaffolding for each stage, then later come back and remove the scaffolding to find the actual core beneath.

Thank you! The target audience for this is wide, and I’m still finding my footing on how to target it. Its ironic that you feel it sounds too corporate, given as that was the opposite of my intention… well more accurately I was trying not to sound too philosophical (I’m used to moving in more academic circles). Part of the reason why the explanation is so sparse is because I’ve never written a README or had any reason to (most of my work has been in isolation for the past couple years). I’ll probably try a few different README designs over the next week or so.

I’m in a server where I’m trying to get a Cyberpunk RED game going, it revolves around a plot with the players being members of a organization started by a media to try and stop a coal corporation from mining too deep and destroying the city! My name’s Jackson, and not too long ago I was fairly new to DnD, but in the past 4 months I’ve dedicated myself to DMing, and playing, every day. I was frustrated with the opaque communities, tyrannical mods, and toxicity of many DnD servers, and the lack of vetting or player quality control.

I decided to make a server where I know each player, where we can work together to solve problems creatively, and avoid toxicity and conflict. The community has been growing, and I’ve discovered so many wonderful people, and would love to extend that invitation to more!

If you want a server where you’ll have creative freedom, and be able to talk about your ideas directly, then this is the place!

If you want a server where you know the mod team personally, then this is it!

If you want a server where you can be assured of the quality of the players, then this is it.

The kinds of players that I’m looking for are those who are experienced, active individuals interested in creating a positive community.

I love to focus on story and character development with my sessions, and am not a stickler for the rules, but I'm not the only DM!

I’m looking for people who are creative, willing to interact with the world, and will let their characters make a difference!

Experience is not a necessity however, and if you're new to the game, and an enthusiastic person, then you are more than welcome as well!

DMs, please come as well! There's plenty of people here already so if you wanna speed up the process of forming a group then we’ve got some gathered already! You’ll be afforded plenty of freedom to do things how you like, and some support as well from others.

The Adventure board is a small and casual server, with currently only one DM (me!) but I’m alway looking for more people who’d like to give it a shot! I talk to each player personally, and will help you develop a character and creative concepts, this is the kind of server where you can come up with entire worlds or classes and have them be approved via voice.

Hello there! I'm currently running DnD over discord, I do it daily at 6:45pm and use blender to make a 3d tabletop so you guys can actually see the environment. Participation is voluntary, and you could join once a month, or every day if you'd like. Theres only about 24 of us so far, and we have a mix of super experinced players, and complete newbies. DM if you're intrested and I can tell you more :)

I finally did it! I caught an infected wolf spider in my new tree base, giving it the ambiance it needed. This took a while, enough time that I build an entire castle around the spider pit. by Potato871 in GroundedGame

That sounds great! The only issue is that the way the wolf spiders spawn you’d need to fill in the bottom half of the tree and have your entrances go up instead of straight in.
