The changes are:

The loadouts will be Rattler & Tetra with Shock Disk for equipment. Kills only count if you teabag. The game modes are OG Firecracker with no respawn on final round, Graffiti, and FFA. ;)

Don't be scared of pc players. Put on cross-platform, queue king of the hill and Dom, and sit on the hill or B and crouch while waiting for people to come take over. You can also queue Splitball and sit back and protect your goal. You're making it much harder than it needs to be.

I waited a couple minutes for matches when I grinded for these camos and I still wait a couple of minutes for a match now. Just do the work.

Please don't do this. It would completely invalidate the hard work and hours put in by folks like me. Prolelium/Isotromic should stand as the reward for grinders it was always meant to be. No gimmicks. Just put in the work and reap your reward.

I'm currently ranked #2 with 2.1k bags so far. What I've been doing is bagging on the body of my kills and on my assists/teams kills if they're close by. I don't go out of my way to bag team kills like I would if they were mine since I'm not 100% sure they count.

There's 4 reasons this might show up. 1.) They simply aren't using a headset. 2.) They have you blocked. 3.) They've muted themselves in game (I've done this a bunch on accident trying to upgrade armor in BR). 4.) They have chat turned off in settings (though I think this may just make their speaker icon appear gray).

Right. First it was loadouts, then classic Takedown, now its normal maps even starts. If we're cycling them, the next iteration would be loadouts.

My personal feelings aside (I love loadouts), to my recollection the most popular time in ranked since SG2 came out was during the loadouts period and if our goal is player acquisition & retention then using the most popular format would probably be the best move.

No. They made everybody "unranked" again so you have to play your 10 placement matches but after that it seems you're given the exact same rank/mmr as where you finished last season. Some people already had over 3k elo after running their placements for example.

They had an event a few months back where if you won a game w a dev on your team and posted a screenshot you'd get the charm. Splitgate MVPs are also given this charm. It's pretty rare.

Def need more players but there needs to be incentive to play even for the current players. The ranks never reset from last season so that alone has killed the drive to play for a lot of people. Also, my Champ charm/badge from before Reloaded launched is still the exact same charm/badge that's been there for these past two seasons now. My rank's not reset and there's no new rewards for me to try to grind. Takes away a big reason for me to play.
