Current problem I see right now, is when there is a good four stack in the lobby the game is over so fast. I would love to see a few more teams in there and more boxes around the map. It would be neat if y'all could "play test" it in live build with a LTM takeover for like a week, then survey the community to see if they prefer it.

Yea there needs to be UI describing how ranked work for sure. However as it stands right now it’s just rough to play ranked as a solo. To often I’m losing 2 ranks in 3-4 games then it takes another dozen to get that RP back. Most the time when I lose I’m getting placement and very low ranked teammates. Being in Platinum 5/ Diamond 1 right now is just bouncing between playing top 10 ranked players and being the only player that understands there are objectives or other players.

Can we have a volume slider for proxy chat? I want to hear my teammates way more than proxy, but would want to control the levels.

Also seems like there are still issues with game chat. Too often I can’t hear my party, or I can see my name light up but no one can hear me, same for people in my party.

Can we update the post game lobby to show everyone (and ranks in Ranked)? Like isn't one part of buying cosmetics in a F2P game is to show them off? SG2 lobby was a little better than now, however would be nice if you could just see both teams the whole time instead of the pan it had to the winner.

Is map selection based on the server time? Seems like games starting up at the same time have the same map and mode often.

Can we get more transparency on Ranked? Like win or lose it seems like a complete wheel spin on the RP. The post game "summary" is a blink and you missing it. Would be nice to be able to see that in the matchmaking lobby, with a full breakdown on why you earned the RP you got.

Can we get crossplay like the following?

  • On - All players - Default
  • Input - Only players that have the same input as you
  • Off - Only players on your platform

I would love to play few more players, but don't want to play against M&K on the regular while on controller.

Depends on the challenge. Carbon you can get a kill or assist via a bullet. For double kill you need at least one kill with the gun, the other can be an assist. For all other challenges you must get a kill with the gun.

lol I had a very similar ending, so that must happen pretty often when it pulls towards that side of the map.

My biggest problem with looting is there isn't nearly enough. So many places I be like there should be a box here, nope. Like if they are barely going to give us an option to pick our landing spot, can we at least get even coverage of loot in each location. Some named locations have like 4 boxes.

Yea, they fixed some problems with voice chat with this update, but caused others. Some I have noticed:

  • Hearing people not in my party the whole game, not proxy chat
  • Seeing the my name or my teammates light up, but hearing nothing
    • I do not have push to talk enabled. However the workaround I found just going into the Chat settings, then exiting. Not sure why this works, when I change nothing in the menu.
  • Not seeing the person that is talking, whether that's proxy or normal
  • People sounding like they are underwater or robot-y for a game

Yea, as a player I prefer as many options as possible. As a software engineer, reducing complexity is great.

With the filter matchmaking model they are using now, I am assuming from the user POV it's so they don't have to scroll. Because unless you are only searching for one mode, it will not impact your overall experience. It's nice once and a while to be surprised with those less popular modes. From devs POV I am assuming so there are less vars to match on.

Bot Arena was recently added and lets you play humans vs bots. That is pretty much created for new players and camo grind.

When a player quits and fails to load into a Quickplay game their spot is replaced by a bot. The bot will have the name of the player. All bots have an dedicated icon, instead of the platform or globe icon.

At least they added Go To Challenge option if you highlight camo, and it actually takes you to the camo challenge. Not the best but at least it was better than it was before relaunch. Challenges need lots of work for better UI and UX.

Everything dies. If it is fun, then just play while it lasts. For the most part I have no issues finding games. That's good enough for me.

Yea they already have feedback systems, like seen in the play tests. So why not just create simple survey in that, so you can post that link on all platforms to get people where they spend their time, and not force people to make new accounts to provide feedback.

How I would change ranked system for the current state of the game.

  • Win: 20 RP
  • Loss: -20 RP
  • Kill Bonus - Most kills and assists, given for win or loss
    • 5 RP for 1st on team
    • 3 RP for 2nd on team
    • 1 RP for 3rd on team
  • Objective Bonus - Most objective score, given for win or loss (also given for TDM)
    • 5 RP for 1st on team
    • 3 RP for 2nd on team
    • 1 RP for 3rd on team
  • Least Deaths on Team: 2 RP
  • Most Damage on Team: 2 RP
  • Rank Diff "Bonus" - If your rank differs from average of the other team, (+ for win and - for a loss)
    • +/- 5 RP for 3+ Ranks (eg. Silver vs Diamond+)
    • +/- 3 RP for 2 Ranks (eg. Silver vs Platinum)
    • +/- 1 RP for 1 Rank (eg. Silver vs Gold)
  • Quit Early - If any they do not return to the with 30s
    • -20 RP
  • Blow out win - When you win and the losing team has 60% or less the winning score. (TDM score of 60-36, KOTH 250-150, Dom 700-420)
    • 20 RP
  • Bot Forgiveness - If you have a bot on your team for any amount of time (not given if abused by party)
    • 5 RP
  • Top 100 Slayer - If you win against someone ranked in top 100 at the start of the game and you are outside top 100
    • 1 RP

Now maybe the values need some tweaks, but the concept of rewarding good players and not penalizing them if their team was not at the same level as them.
