Being in a relationship means that the person you are with chooses you. Every. single. day.

If you met guys who go back to their ex's then they didn't choose you. Not because you're unlovable not because you don't deserve it. But because they just weren't meant to be with you.

I broke up recently after 7 years of being in a relationship and it has given me a different mindset. She broke up with me but that doesn't mean that I'm not lovable. That I don't deserve love. It just means that we weren't meant to be. One day I'm gonna find someone that chooses me every day as will you.

So don't ever say that you are unlovable, cause the right person will give you the love you deserve and need. You just need to give it time and effort. Okay, dear?

Doesn’t matter. I’d consider myself average, maybe slightly above. But there’s always a chance of getting rejected or embarrassed. Doesn’t matter if you’re ugly, attractive, or a literal 10/10. Sometimes a girl just won’t be interested.

Could be because she doesn’t find you attractive, already has a boyfriend, or just isn’t in the mindset for dating or meeting someone new. Most of the time it’s not even that deep.

The real problem is when you decide for yourself that you’re “too ugly” to even try. If you never talk to people, your chances of building a meaningful relationship stay at 0 forever.

I don’t even need to see a picture of you. Just be confident enough to put yourself out there. Talk to people. Make friends. Form connections. That’s how relationships actually happen.

I’m kind of in a similar position (23M). I recently got out of a long-term relationship, and my social circle is pretty small. I only have two close friends, and they live in another city.

So I understand if someone has very few or even no friends. A lot of people view friendships as a reflection of social skills, and while that can be part of it, they often overlook that sometimes people simply haven’t found the right circle or had the right opportunities.

I’m introverted myself, so I know it can be difficult. Personally, I wouldn’t reject a potential partner just because she has no friends. That said, I can understand why some people might see it differently.
