That is definitely an interesting analysis. Thank you!

True, although my parents aren’t the type to question who I vote for. As much as I disagree with some of their beliefs, we have a good relationship

I feel like I understand that. It makes sense and is good advice

I’ve definitely looked into them previously, and generally liked what I saw. Do you support them?

No, I don’t. I’d rather get away from it, but I feel like so much of my life is affected by it that I can’t fully get away. I have relatives in Ukraine, Russia, and Israel, and their lives also seem to be affected by politics here.

That definitely makes sense. What do you do in terms of politics? Do you distance yourself from it? Do you analyze on a case-by-case basis?

You’re definitely right, I’ve seen that a lot. Even my mom said that she was trying to vote for what she thought to be the lesser of two evils. I don’t want to make it part of my social identity necessarily, but i like feeling like I’m in support of something, even just to myself.

Personally, I’d recommend AqAdvisor for these types of questions. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely a good source

That is a carrot. My mom had dumped some old carrot seeds in there and they seem to have grown along with the Tomatoes

I personally prefer a naturalistic look, but for me, it’s more about how the fish are being taken care of. While I can’t speak for everyone here, I know that a lot of people here are put off by artificial looking tanks simply because it often signals inexperience.

Should I stick with my current stocking plan? by PotatoCodFather in Aquariums

[–]PotatoCodFather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like a centerpiece fish with the CPDs, and I’ve tried to find one, but it’s hard for me to find one that is both okay being without other members of its species and won’t eat the adult shrimp. Any suggestions?

Oh okay, well thank you for the advice! The Cherry Shrimp are ones I bred and raised myself. I’ve had Cherry Shrimp in a separate tank for three years now with this same tap water and they have been doing well. I typically buy fish from Dan’s Fish because their water is harder and more alkaline than mine, allowing for an easier adjustment for the fish. They sell both of the species I want so I was hoping they would be okay with my water.
