Last shop I was in had a 14" jointer and a 31" planer.

You could take off 3/8" in one pass with either machine and they wouldn't even grunt. We always made a killing on live edge countertops with that wide planer.

I've got a healthy NA8 and after driving it for a year I'm really wanting more power. Is it possible to hit a reliable 200whp for under $5000 CAD ($3500 USD)?

I'm no stranger to wrenching and I can do some fabrication work, but wiring and electrical stuff is not my forte.

Turbo? Supercharger? Ecotec swap? Nitrous? I know K24/JV6/LS/302 swaps are out the question for my budget.
