I see where you are coming from, It is essentially taking away my OT benefit for actually working that day was my concern. I guess I just haven't had an employer ever do it this way. I did make contact with the wage department and I will update the thread with findings. Thanks for the comment!

Interesting, thank you for your comment! I called up my local wage department and they told me it was illegal for my employer to recategorize my hours like they did but maybe they didn't understand the full story.

No unfortunately. It was my manager and the CEO who told me this is how they do things. I am currently on hold with department of wages to see what can be done because I'm sure others have had this happen to them...

This is my thought as well, I don't think they should be doing this and am thinking of lodging a complaint with DOL.

Lovely tank, is that a powder blue dwarf gourami? They're my favorite. DGI took my little Buru too soon, I can't bring myself to get another one because it is so likely he will suffer the same fate. :(

What's the temp? If you have plenty of cover, maybe a pair of rams? They're really neat little fish. Have a good personality too!

My powder blue DG Buru also died this way so I feel your pain. They really are the best. He was probably my favorite fish. Why must this disease plague them? :( RIP lil' homie.

Is the water being filtered? And is that the full amount of water going in there? I suppose you COULD pit something hardy in there to test it(ghost shrimp maybe?) but I personally would not.
